The Darkest Period In History (No Pun Intended)

It's May Day today, the favorite holiday of the Democrat Party and their international socialist brethren. Here my city we will have thousands of illegal aliens demonstrating and marching and demanding their "rights" waving red flags, the Mexican flag, and chanting si se puede--the slogan adopted by the BHO campaign.
The American people have truly have their heads of their a---- voting for this vacuous, narcissistic, ubiquitous, loquacious, pseudointellectual phony Marxist gasbag. I cannot even bear to watch cable news--even Fox--because it is all about BHO 24/7.
I think the American people have forgotten what what this country is all about. Limited government, free market capitalism, and minimal taxation, They seemed to have forgotten the enduring wisdom of our Founding Fathers and limitations placed on government by the Constitution. Our youth, values corrupted by truly deranged Hollyweird celubtards, brains turned to mush by Marxist teachers unions are completely clueless. Go to any mall out here and you will see them covered head to toe with tatoos, wearing baggy trousers asses hanging half way out. Not to mention all the nose rings and piercings. Yes, the gangsta look is in these days.
What a pathetic fraud democracy has become. Our Founders created a republic which was intended to LIMIT the powers of the federal government and protect the rights of property owners and taxpayers and gun owners. Only property owners were permitted to vote in federal elections at the beginning of the republic. I now see the wisdom of that idea!
Over the past few days I have been thinking about some of our past presidents. Calvin Coolidge oftens comes to mind. Here was a man who truly understood the proper role and function of the federal government. He did little and said even less. He seemed to operate by the precious but now outdated notion that politicians are to be seen and not heard. He kept taxes low and believed in another precious but outdated notion that business of America was business. America thrived under his administration.
My favorite campaigner was William McKinley. His brilliant campaign manager was Mark Hanna. McKinley campaigned from his front porch. He wasn't constantly in your face and appearing on programs such as Oprah, Ellen, Letterman, Leno, MTV, SNL, the View etc. Of course we didn't have television in McKinley's day; back then the equivalent to TV was the traveling circus.
We are clearly living in the darkest of times. A Saul Alinsky trained community organizer whose earliest mentor was a member of the CPUSA and whose close associates include a Weather Underground terrorist leader. A man who was raised a Muslim, cynically converted to Christianity for political purposes in Rev. Wright's hate filled racist church. What were the American people THINKING electing this dangerous radical to the highest, most powerful office on the entire planet? This is a man who bows before a Saudi monarch, cannot bring himself to place his hand over his heart during the national anthem, disdainful of flag lapel pins, and seems to enjoy listening to anti-American tirades offered up by foreign tin horn dictators.
What a truly disgusting, pathetic, and dark era we are now living. A can rarely stomach watching the news any more. The other night I was watching the Military Channel. They had an interesting program devoted to our nuclear submarines. The awesome power a single Trident Submarine has is simply beyond belief! And then I remembered who now has the power to control those submarines and switched the channel to a station running reruns od my favorite sitcom growing up, Hogan's Heroes. It was only then I could find some relief in front of the television and escape from this utterly and totally disgusting period were are now living in
