One of our sons was at a movie with a group of his buddies. In the row next to them sat a group of younger kids who were entertaining themselves with a rabid discussion about "global warming" and how they might be contributing to it.

One kid said,"Yeah, did you know that we are contributing to global warming just by being here?"

One of the guys in my son's group entered their discussion and presented a more realistic counterpoint which only served to irritate the other group and led to some attitude in response to his words.

For this, we can say "thank you" to a badly misguided education system that has for too long been the vehicle for promoting - rather - brainwashing the students it is to be serving with a bunch of politically correct crap.

My first response to this was..."Oh Puhleeze!"

But then I read it again.

My second response to this was...

"Oh Puhleeze!

Burnt has a point. I've got two kids and I pay attention to the programs that they watch. There are these politically correct messenges sprinkled in there everywhere - even the cartoons today.

So you don't think that the writers of cartoons and kids programming don't sprinkle in a little of what ever agenda that is part of the authors bias? Surely you are not that naive.

Remember that this is the same crowd that probably starting foaming at the mouth after Jerry Falwell claimed that Tinky-Winky from the Tele-Tubbies was an agent for gay recruitment because he was purple and had a triangle on his head.

So now climatology is "politically correct"?

What's next?

Attacking the Theory of Evolution?

Oh, yeah, never mind.

I am furious that my kids' science teacher has been telling them that the Earth is a spheroid, rather than its obvious flatness, and worse yet, that it revolves around the sun instead of being the center of the heavens as God made it.

You do realize that God told us the earth was round a long time before Scientist accepted it. It was in the bible for hundreds of years that it was round when all the smart people thought it was flat! Maybe you could learn something from the bible!
