Thank you, Ms Sage. It brought back many memories of walking through airports in uniform nearly 40 years ago. I'll never forget civilians reactions in the LA airport in May, 1969. The reactions ranged from folks being thankful to pity to anger. Many just glared at us. The anti war sentiment was very strong in that part of the country at that time.
