This thread seems to be a good place to post this article. It'll probably be pretty easy to keep this thread about goofy Democrats at the top all the way until November. It would be hard to make up anything as good as some of this stuff.

Denton County Democrats offer to help cemetery repair

Today is cleanup day at the cemetery adjacent to Flower Mound Presbyterian Church.
The Denton County Democratic Party has gathered volunteers to help repair the cemetery that was damaged when voters parked in the cemetery for the March 4 caucus.
Francis Darroca, whose son, Kyle, is buried in the cemetery, said the group of volunteers will meet at 11 a.m. today at the church to help restore the ground that has ruts throughout the cemetery. The group is also expected to include church members.
“We just want to make it presentable,” Darroca said. “So, (the volunteers) are bringing in dirt so that we can prepare the ground to grow grass again. During the winter and spring months, it gets really wet out there, and people track mud in to the church.”
Darroca said he doesn’t know how many people will show up since the date of the cleanup wasn’t announced until Thursday.
“We’ve asked others with loved ones who are buried there to volunteer,” Darroca said. “We’ll just show up and see what we can do. We want this to be a comfortable place for people who come visit their loved ones.”
James Coop, who is on the church’s building and ground committee, said he met with the Denton County Democratic Party earlier in the week, and party chair Neil Durrance said they will provide volunteers to help in the groundwork, as well as bring in dirt and equipment.
The majority of the damage was limited to several ruts being dug into the ground. There were also tire tracks close to a head stone and evidence of a tire getting stuck inside a grave.
“There was a fresh gave real close to the road,” Coop said. “Someone pulled straight in. There was no above-ground marker there yet since it was a fresh grave.”
Coop said no head stones were damaged. He added two cars got stuck in the church’s yard, too.
“I’m glad to see this is happening,” Darroca said of the volunteers. “I just want it to be a sincere way for the people who did this to say they’re sorry. We’re ready to go beyond this.”
