Great pictures, Jersey Lilly. It L:shock: ks like a jungle down there with the thick greenery, crawdads, and doodads hanging from trees. Fencing is bound to be difficult through that dense foliage, but hopefully the digging is easy with all the rain you have had. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the nice comments ya'll.

The horse is 85% sound, so the vets at Texas A&M dianosed. They said do whatever she wanted with him, and if he shows soreness to give him a lil bute after ridin, but he still even at 20 years of age has a tendancy to wanna buck ever now n then. I think it's cuz he's do blasted fat and feelin good LOL He doesn't get a bite of feed, he stays like that on pasture.

Haymaker.........is that a picture of a new woman? Cookin you up a mess of greens?? hehehehe  kiddin...Happy Halloween!

Great Pictures...I'm like Soapweed..sure hate to fix fence in yur country...let along tear out a fenceline to replace! It's bad enuff around here when ya have to go through a plum thicket..lol I just luv yur cows...they are so colorful and seem to have personalities....I heard that quiet cows and calves produce the most tender meat...You've got that nailed! Not that I want that stuff growing on my trees, but it sure is purty colored...what is it? Good luck with your fence, and ya know by the time you get it all done, we'll need some fence repair work come this spring after the snows...lol

I would assume it's a fungus, but I aint for sure positive(could be some form of moss???). The main reason I stopped and took that picture is because normally you see stuff similar to that growin on felled trees. But that's a perfectly healthy tree standin in the woods along one of our paths. So it caught my attention. It's velvety feelin to the touch.

Your fence looks like some of ours where the elk always cross....doggone cows always seem to find the bad places, too.

Thanks for the picture story, your place looks so nice and green!!! :D
