Even though it has rained almost 3" here recently we could use a lot more precip too.

NMR, ol' Haymaker might have to hire AZcowmangler to help him out and show how it's done!  :D

We've had some decent thundershowers move thru almost daily for the last 4 days or so. I would say it's hindered my pasture mowin, but it really hasn't. Either it comes and goes perdy fast, and I just start up again after it quits. Or...it has come after I done spent 6 or 8 hours on the tractor. Been gettin out there kinda early while it's still cool.
But no....Haymaker's right...we don't need a hurricane LOL

Hope you all that need the moisture get it tho. Hurricanes and tropical storms that come in and spread out over west texas and new mexico sure do bring some good rains. Them kind that rain for 3 or 4 days and it soaks in.

I hope it blows up this way a little, we have not had any rain to really speak of in six weeks. pasture is dried up, hay fields are dried up, first cutting was short and does not look like there will be a second cutting. The first cutting was in may/june and the hay fields are not even ankle high and burnt to a crisp. already feeding hay and i'm still about 100 round bales short for the winter.
