well she isn't yet,.. unless independents ignore thier principles and vote her in...

The Democrat Nominee for Senator from Montana is Horrible

I’m not sure how many of you are from the great state of Montana, but I wanted to make sure that those of you who are got a chance to get to know you’re Democrat nominee for Senator.

Meet Representative Amanda Curtis.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=X98qmvI6Ntc

Did you enjoy her mocking Christianity? How about making fun of gun rights supporters? Wasn’t it fun when she said that it was “bull” when Republicans say our children would be inheriting all of that debt?

My favorite part is when she tires to self-identify as an “anarchist”!

Well Montana? Is Amanda Curtis really the woman you want representing you in the Senate? Is she really a good example of the average Montana citizen? I really, really hope not.

in her own words..

Please Note,.. I didn't write the article,.. it is someone else who must read ranchers...
I was shocked how informed the author of the article was on Montana politics,..

I saw the article the other day... Like I said- she's from Butte- and a strong union backer.. Much of that Butte, Helena, Missoula western part of the state is quite liberal...
And she doesn't stand a snowballs chance in He!! of winning... Altho her opponent Daines isn't much... Even before Walsh quit- I saw the Libertarian was pulling in 9% of the vote- because folks don't like the candidates of either party.. And the Libertarian Root has a few skeletons too....

Altho I don't think taking these bits and pieces of her daily blog out of context were fair to Mrs. Curtis... When put into the context she was speaking about they do show the hypocrisy of some issues--especially when she was talking about the the Tea Party "family values" legislative leadership and how one of those leaders is now up on felony criminal charges for assaulting his estranged wife, his 4 year old daughter, the new boyfriend and the responding police officer...

Montana Republican Charged With Felony Assault After Throwing 4-Year Old Daughter

Republican State Senator Jason Priest (Red Lodge) has been charged with felony assault on a minor, for throwing his four-year old daughter on February 1st. Priest, who ironically chairs the Senate Public Health, Welfare and Safety Committee, was arrested on February 1st for assaulting his daughter, his estranged wife and her boyfriend. He also allegedly fought with the arresting officer.

Priest is a Tea Party style Republican who has often clashed with GOP moderates in the Republican State Senate. He is a proud member of the NRA and staunchly “Pro-life”. Yet, this “family values” Republican is now an accused felony domestic abuser, and his commitment to “protecting” the unborn is apparently not matched by an equal commitment to protect children who have been born.

In addition, given his propensity for violent rage, Priest raises questions about whether domestic abusers should have easy access to guns. A man who threw his daughter like a potato sack, tried to shove his wife down a flight of stairs, fractured her boyfriend’s ribs, and then fought the police officer when he arrived, is a man who would pose a clear and present danger to all around if he was armed. After he was arrested the judge ordered him to stay away from firearms and for good reason.

So naturally you'll vote Libertarian, thereby ensuring Mrs. Curtis gets elected.

Boy you must think I wield a lot of power- my vote alone will elect a State Senator ! :cboy: I'm gonna need to buy a bigger hat... Pretty soon I'll start feeling like a Texan.. :p

I will vote for whoever I think will do the best for the State- and right now its a tough decision... We have a poor group to choose from this year...

Ones a liberal strong union backer, one thinks his oath to a character named Grover overrides his oath to the state or nation, and one has some racism shadows in his background...

Wow, a story about a liberal Montana candidate and OT finds a way to bash the tea party. Who could have guessed such a thing?

He's really quite conservative, you know.

OT...why do you not like Daines? He was on the only one that showed up to town meetings on the Sage Grouse and took our feelings back with him. The others won't even answer the phone and you can at least talk to him.

First off- I'm not sure we need anymore multimillionaires in Congress-- secondly many of his millions were earned while working in China for a company that outsourced a lot of jobs overseas- and thirdly I have a tough time trusting someone that will put his oath to a group led by a fellow named Grover over his oath to Montana or the nation...(I think I've wrote books on why I don't support many of the Montana Tea Party preachings)... Just saying NO all the time doesn't cut it...

What has Daines done as a Congressman :???: I've heard of little... He's going to win hands down- but I think there are better people out there that could do much more for Montanan's as a whole..

I understand OT how many lies you've told and retold, but that doesn't make them any more true.

The tea party is not anything like your slurs. And your repeated assertion "they just say no to everything" is embarrassingly dishonest. I suggest tea party sorts would almost all agree, small business health insurance should be bought with pre tax monies the same as walmart buys it.

I'd suggest almost all tea party supporters see the need to manage the DNC/trial lawyers health care tax through tort reform.

No matter how many times you repeat and recycle a lie OT, it doesn't change it's validity. Sort of the zero product principle in reverse. You and Obama seem to think zero x a really big number is something more than zero.

You mean thru Medicaid :???:

Says Walmart employees represent the largest group of Medicaid and food stamp recipients in many states, costing the taxpayer $1,000 per worker.
Alan Grayson on Saturday, November 24th, 2012 in a Huffington Post column.
----------------
Largest group of Medicaid recipients?

Newspapers, lawmakers and liberal policy groups for years have analyzed which companies have large numbers of employees that seek public health insurance assistance.

In nearly all 24 states in which a study was completed, Grayson’s point proved accurate, according to a list from Good Jobs First, a labor-funded group that has criticized government support for Wal-Mart.

Only 2 % of WalMart employees are on Medicaid. Want to know why so many? It's cheaper..............................

Brad S - let me help you understand OT with these simple but concise definitions, I call them The Seven Truths of OldTimer.

1) bigot - a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion

2) close-minded - having a mind firmly unreceptive to new ideas or arguments

3) disingenuous - lacking in frankness, candor, or sincerity; falsely or hypocritically insincere

4) prevaricator - a person who speaks falsely; liar

5) self-absorbed - preoccupied with one's thoughts, interests, etc.

6) conceited - having an excessively favorable opinion of one's abilities

7) legend in one's own mind - a person that exaggerates their self importance. These people like to boast or brag about their achievements, positions, and accomplishments. Often seen as drama queens, blowhards, and egomaniacs. These people like to inflate their credentials, but in reality, they're not that important.

2. Montana’s Roger Roots. Now that we’ve had some fun, it’s time to be scared. In the late 1990s, Roots sued Montana Human Rights Watch for libel because they said that he was an organizer for the Klu Klux Klan in Billings. An appeals court threw out Roots’ lawsuit, but not without citing even more alarming facts about his background in a lower court’s ruling:

“[He] authored a publication entitled Whites and Blacks 100 Facts (and One Lie), which is advertised for sale nationally. The publication lists “facts” about African-Americans, such as: blacks have low I.Q.’s due to small foreheads; they have never invented anything; and they are more likely to have syphilis than whites. [Roots] is a columnist in the Jubilee, wherein one of his columns states that the Holocaust was a hoax.”

I guess if a person has principles.. he wouldn't be voting at all..

Your dirty 7 explain a lot more than I can about the lies OT posts with shameless regularity.

Shameless could have been on the list as well, but I figured you'd get the picture.

Insufferable also comes to mind.

Scourge.

Blight.

No, any power you may have had left a long time ago. What you do practice is misdirection, whether you understand it or not. Since you are "really quite conservative", you'll talk up the Libertarian. What type of folks are more likely yo vote Libertarian? Conservatives. They split their vote between the Republican and Libertarian candidates, and the libs can focus all their votes for Mrs. Curtis....Just like Perot did for the Slickmeister in 1992 and 1996.

This year and beyond, if you don't vote straight Republican, you better brace yourself for more Hoax and Chains from the libs. I've had about enough of Old Taqiyya's boy myself. Have you?
