The march of the wooden morans

Everyone in the political class, journalists, consultants, elected Democrats and Republicans alike, needs to know this: Those countless little-known people who established the local e-mail lists, organized first one, then two, then three or more chartered buses, held sign-making parties and packed box lunches, are not going to go away any time soon. Continue to enact legislation that we cannot afford and they will be back, perhaps in even greater numbers.

What won’t stop is the bile and lies and hate coming at us from the voices of the Left who are always so very wrong.

sorry but I take offense to being called a moron by the article and feel insulted that reader2 posted an article knowing that I attended and witnessed firsthand how the people were friendly, kind, lighthearted and yes, clean.. I didn't see any hatred..

so next time lady.. think before you call me a moron..

your article shows how low you will stoop..

I'm still wondering how we know that the article was written "by a man who witnessed fascism firsthand".

Who wrote it and how old is the guy?

I know that, of course. I was looking for the pic because it's the first I recalled where I saw the word moran used in that context.

That's where I quit reading.

I'm still waiting to find out how we know it was written "by a man who witnessed fascism firsthand".

well, do a search. Put one of the first sentences into Google.

Thousands marched on Washington, D.C. yesterday to voice their outrage over the possibility that the President of the United States would sign into law a plan that would call for all to gain universal health coverage.

nope that didn't work.

Rancher.net came up as the second search result, and the first didn't have any mention of it.

Is Google playing games, hmmmm

Well, I want to know about the guy who wrote it....about his "witnessing fascism firsthand" which means, of course, that he knows it when he sees it.

I thought I could find out the author's name by doing a search of the written material.

Can't find it.

With Ranchers coming up at the top of the search results, it leads me to believe, that this may be one of the only places the articles is posted.

As the article says, he lost parts of his family to Italian fascism and was brought up knowing way more about it than you or I do. Those who yell "Nazi" are off base and I liked his pointing out how far afield they are when they compare the U.S. today to Mussolini's Italy or Hitler's Germany.

You are too blinded by your prejudices to even read this guy's opinion and learn.

thanks for clarifying, R2

Did you read the article I posted awhile back by the man, that was in Germany during the 30's 40's, with a warning for the US?

Would you like to actually read some articles or a book or 2 by an actual survivor, Reader, of course you do, so here goes for the third try. I've posted articles by Hilmar Von Campe twice before. Here they are again.

As the article says, he lost parts of his family to Italian fascism and was brought up knowing way more about it than you or I do. Those who yell "Nazi" are off base and I liked his pointing out how far afield they are when they compare the U.S. today to Mussolini's Italy or Hitler's Germany.

Because of his unique personal experiences, von Campe has a fresh and much-needed view of American society. Von Campe gives an insightful description of today’s “neo-nazis,” warns that Nazi ideals are steadily chipping away at America’s freedom, then proposes an action plan salvaging our eroding freedom.

Shall we allow them? The United States is close to be taken over from within by Barack Hussein Obama, a development similar to those in Germany at the beginning of the 1930s.

I grew up under the Nazis, and what I saw then there I see now here. There is nothing theoretical when I speak about what happens when a nation throws God out of government and society and when Christians become religious bystanders. I am not part of those who want some people to look bad by calling them Nazis, as Nancy Pelosi and so many people do nowadays. My writing is based on my own experience and that of my family. We were there.

and this one that I posted in March, by the same author, you didn't comment on it either.

Barack Obama has not touched corruption and moral issues. His plans for dealing with issues are of economic nature and are pure Marxism – blaming the non-socialist enemies and distributing money to bribe poor voters, making them dependent on government and cementing its power. Marxism's concepts lead to the welfare state – and on to a totalitarian system built on lies where government is central. There is no real concern for people; power is at the heart of all their projects.

I have taken a stance on this issue before numerous times. I studied the history of the National Socialist Party and how it came to power. I studied the Holocaust. I lost scores of relatives who the Nazis murdered as did my friends, including those whose parents were in concentration camps from the time they were 13 years old and lost every single member of their family and had atrocities done to them.

I am disgusted by those in the U.S. who yell Nazi at Obama or who yelled it at Bush. And calling them fascists is only slightly better.

You need to study the histories of totalitarian, fascist governments in Argentina, Uganda, Nazi Germany, and Mussolini Italy and read about the types of genocide and total abandonment of the rule of law and of humanity. You are being either ignorant, misguided, or purposely lying when you make comparisons with Nazi Germany.

why not read the articles I have posted in the past, and then lecture me about reading up on this history, you mention.
