The most dangerous cake recipe in the WORLD

We made three cakes last night.....HOLY COW!!!!!! They are AWESOME!!! They are also very rich, if you use chocolate chips they end up in the bottom, and works well if you spray Pam or somehow grease the coffee cup first. It also works best if you let the cakes sit for 5 min. before serving :D :D

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.

Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.

Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.

The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!

Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world ?
Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

now if you have a little time this is the best.... make for my wifes B-days...and well when ever
Only for those that really really love chocolate.
Flourless Chocolate Cake
4 ounces bittersweet chocolate (not unsweetened)
1/2cup butter
¾ cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs (I used 4)
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder, plus additional for sprinkling
Sweetened whipped cream (optional)

1 Preheat oven to 375*F(I used 325* being higher up the mountain) Butter an 8-inch baking pan and line bottom with a round wax paper, butter paper.
2 Chop chocolate into small pieces. In a double boiler or metal bowl set over a saucepan of barely simmering water melt chocolate with butter, stirring until smooth. Remove top of double boiler or bowl from heat and whisk sugar into chocolate mixture. Add eggs and whisk well.
3 Sift ½ cup cocoa powder (I added a couple table spoons more for the altitude) over chocolate mixture and whisk until combine.
4 Pore batter into pan and bake in middle of oven for 25 minutes , or until top has formed a thin crust, Cool in pan on a rack 5 minutes and invert onto a serving plate.
5 Dust cake with additional cocoa powder and serve with sweetened whipped cream.

I sent this to some friends and one of them wrote back..... here is what she said....

"I’ve been tweeking this recipe for sometime. I’ll pass along what I’ve done and someone else can play with it. Apparently there is a lot of variation on the outcome. It is so rich I don’t try a new variation but every now and then. I have had trouble with the original being a little rubbery. ( I know I should have better things to do)

Tweek #1

4 Tbs flour

4 Tbs sugar

2 Tbs cocoa

2 Tbs milk

Splash of vanilla extract

Scant ¼ tsp baking soda

2 Tbs cocoa

2 Tbs brown sugar

½ C hot water

Mix first part in microwaveable cup
Mix second cocoa and brown sugar and put on TOP of batter. Pour water on top of mixture
Microwave for 3 minutes

The end result is chocolate cake with chocolate sauce.

Tweek #2

3 Tbs flour

2 Tbs sugar

2 Tbs cocoa

Splash of vanilla extract

Scant ¼ tsp baking soda

2 Tbs flour

2 Tbs brown sugar

½ cup hot water

Same directions as above.

Someone else can play with it and see what they come up with.

I just had one of these dangerous cakes this evening. It was very good. Now I feel full and foundered--hope my toes don't turn up. This could happen from either founder or croaking from too much cake.

I'll give it a "thumbs up" whether my toes turn up or not. :)
