I have to say I like Ted's opinion of Sharpton. I have always thought Sharpton was nothing more than an low life opportunist that uses his skin color to force his sick racist agenda. Any time there is a black person is involved in anything you can bet by the time the press is there so is Sharpton.
I love Ted's reaction to Rev. Lee's last statement . And I would say MLK's own niece being at Glenn's Rally and not at Sharpton's says something but the good Rev. doesn't seem to think she is of an importance.

I agree Sharpton is a low life opportunist. MLK was the real deal, sharpton is not.

I'll argue with you on the MLK statement. I saw him come to communities here, stir up the hornets nest, leave some thugs behind to start trouble, leave and claim he was for "Non Violent" protests. It happened time and time again.

I lived on the Highway where the Selma March took place that he supposedly led. He didn't walk but about 200 yards of the entire march. He was too busy screwing the women who came down to join the "action". He just loved those little young white students from Berkeley.

One of his "honeys" Viola Liuzzo got shot not 2 minutes from where I lived. She was a mother of little children that came for the "action" too.

I could tell you stories about him for days from first hand knowledge.

He was no different than Jesse or Al.

A memorial to King has been planned for construction on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., by the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation. In April 2009, the media reported that King's family had charged the Foundation $800,000 for the use of his words and image in fund-raising materials for the memorial

After more than a decade of effort, a few chapters of controversy and a 47-day ocean voyage from China, a small blue and white cargo ship pulled into Baltimore's Canton Marine Terminal at 6 a.m. Friday bearing the shipment of stone blocks that will make up Washington's national memorial to the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

The 159 granite sculpture blocks, which weigh 1,600 metric tons, were thought to be the vessel's only freight. They were carried, with little fanfare, aboard the BBC France, a modern 300-foot-long vessel operated by the German-based shipping firm BBC Chartering.

I doubt I will be going to pay respects to a chinese monument..

A blind man could tell that even though MLK preached "non-violence", violence followed him every step of the way. MLK was smart enough not to try to pull his crap in Shreveport, though.
