Trump's position on gun rights does sound pretty strong. According to his campaign website,

BUT,... in his book...
The Republicans walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions.

I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun.

That was after Gowdy endorsed Rubio.
Yes, even more importantly it shows that adults can get over their candidate losing the primarys and move on to support the eventual nominee.

While hating the fact that mr T. seems to be an aging playboy who will likely never change his womanizing, hopefully, he has more sense in that area than does the true, proven abuser of women he has economic power over that will most likely become our 'first man' if Trump doesn't prevail in the election.

Not high praise, but Trump does have some strong points, in that he knows what it takes to run business, and that government excesses threaten business. He knows that protection of illegal immigrants isn't right, and hopefully will realize it isn't as 'good for business' as our current government leaders seem to believe it is.

But it seems it will take an awful lot of praying to keep a 'president' Trump acting on his best intentions and beliefs, too! Yet he clearly is the best option we have without absolutely abusing our rules of government to put a 'chosen' person in position to run, which I'm definitely against. We need more adherence to Constitutional rules, not less.
