Since Kola and Oldtimer don't seem to want to talk about the Air Traffic controllers, that keep US skies safe for travelers, being furloughed so Obama can fund Duck Penis studies, maybe they like to discuss something a little closer to home, that being the fact USDA Meat inspectors are being furloughed so Professors in Liberal Universities can do studies like the one being done on how monkeys react to cocaine?
Yep furlough those responsible for food safety and paid for a monkey to be fed illegal drugs.
Hint if you want to see a monkey on drugs just look up Obama's college pictures
BTW If they need to know how monkeys act on Cocaine they can always ask Obama college classmates as I hear he not only smoked illegal pot as shown in the picture but he also did a little coke when he could afford it and when the stress of college was getting him down. Ever wonder what he does when the stress of being President of the US gets him down. I wonder if the Secret Service ever frisks all those Rappers and Hollyweird celebs that party like there is no tomorrow at the White House? :?
Come on Oldtimer defend Obama's choice of programs he is willing to spend your grandchildren's future earning on while risking the lives of those who count on him to keep them safe.
Details for planned furloughs of inspectors at meatpacking plants are becoming more clear. USDA previously announced the mandatory unpaid days off would be necessary due to the budget cuts mandated under the “sequestration” that took effect on March 1.
According to a Reuters article, Agriculture Undersecretary Elizabeth Hagen told a House Appropriations subcommittee the furloughs will begin in mid-July. The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) will select 11 days from July through September on which to furlough all 9,212 U.S. meat safety workers, including over 8,000 front-line workers such as in-plant inspectors. The agency plans to spread the furlough days out so there will not be any consecutive days of work stoppage at the plants.
Most packing plants need the FSIS inspectors to operate, and the furloughs will disrupt meat production somewhat, although USDA says it is trying to minimize the impacts.
