I saw a boxliner blow out of a truck I was meeting just south of Malta one time. Was on a bull evaluation mission today found a pretty decent older LHD Cigar son. Big smoke to the north so the water bombers will be flying tomorrow-muskkegs and swamps are pretty dry makes fire fighting tough.

-10 clear and calm here finally. That storm left a little snow behind. It could be bad north and east. We are on the edge, a mile west and south never saw a thing. There is a line of clouds north east that look nasty.

Interestingsidestory-- neighbor from up Brazil creek was down helping fight the fire--andsitting in his pickup talking to one of the Deputies whena big gust camealong... He didn't have his tailgate in-and the gustapparently got underand blew the bedliner in his pickup (which was bolted down)- upandsmashed the hylift jack, pipe wrenchs, toolboxand everything else right thru his back window....A 3 foot chunk of cheater pipe ended up flying by his earand landing in the frontseat (4 door pickup)...
And people laughabout the logging chain weathersock.

Yep- and thats just what the weather bureau calls "breezy"...

Wind went down for awhile during the night- but picking right up again- my meter is already showing 27mph wind with gusts to 38...

Forecast:
Today: Sunny, with a high near 48. Breezy, with a west wind between 18 and 28 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph.

Zero visibility........took a trailer out to the calving field to bring in two fresh pairs......got the job 3/4 done :???: ....left a friggin stupid simmental cross cow behind.....she needs to be roped & drug in the trailer; just ain't gonna happen in this weather. It was a challenge to find my way back into the yard but managed to find the trail. Hopefully there's nothing else calving until this system blows through.

No snow here just 100 km winds and dust blowing everywhere, moved a pair this morning and mooma was more than a little protective. I think the wind makes everyone a little grouchy!
