The wind is here

We had rain and wind before dawn, rain and wet melting snow most of the morning, and snow all afternoon. Now, at 6:30 MDT, there is about four inches of snow on the ground, wind at 20 mph, and the temperature is at 29 degrees. Glad we are mostly done calving. The cows who have the past few days enjoyed running a bit after new grass, are once again appreciating their hay.

We ended up with around 8 inches on Monday. I had worked the Sunday night shift and drove on some nasty roads coming home. :x
