How can anybody in American agriculture complain about the last 8 years. Does anybody remember what their calves or crops were worth the last few years? Never made more money myself. I don't think there will be much incentive to succeed for the next 4 years now though. Tax this country into a depression. You go Obama.

Don't be an arrogant winner...oh wait, I forgot who I was talking to.

Things to expect...

Return of high energy prices...probably going higher than we saw recently.

All the money taken out of the stock market will stay out.

If you thought government spending under Bush was bad...just wait.

Taxes will go up for everyone...taxpayers pay for everything the government spends...liberal Democrats are big spenders! The middle class will pay the big business tax increases!

Inflation going thru the roof...see above.

Did I mention high energy prices??? Everything you buy will be more expensive!!!

I won't mention the bigger chunk of the economy lawyers will get...after all, the Democrat party is the party of the trial lawyers.

That should be enough to brighten everyone's day.

Congratulations to Obama supporters.

The voters I have distain for are the so-called conservative that set out to teach Republicans a lesson.

Big....couldn't agree with you more. In fact I've made more money across the board the last 8 years than ever in my life. Have taken some pretty good licks on a couple of investments this year but all in all it's been nothing but good for me. I can't complain.

And I also congratulate Senator Obama on his victory. It's our duty as American's to support him while at the same time holding him accountable. This is not a time to gloat nor give up.

Now Obama will need all our support and prayers. Hope he can make some changes for the better. Many of our ideals have become challenged. Looks like he has a tough job ahead. I will make one last comment though. I never thought that the American people would elect the son of a "Goat Herder" for president. With our present conditions we have forgotten that running the country is a business, it needs the logic of a businessman.

Why not?? We've elected alcoholics, bi-polars, adulters, murderers, gamblers and everything else as presidents in the past?

Not joking here:

With an opinion like that.....I guess we're no longer 'friends' as I can not be considered ' white' .

With an attitude like that.....you will miss a lot of good people that will pass thru your life.....and worse yet...your kids will miss those same good people also probably.

my point here Kola, is that all along it was said that the campaign was NOT about race. well it was about race 100% . they pulled so many people out of the woodwork to vote, who voted strickly on color. they had no idea on any issue where he stood. they went to vote for a brutha.

I am so pissed that as a white man, I MUST allow a fair shake to minorities, while the same groups use that to plow my ass under the ground. if there is anyone being mistreated today, it is the white man.

if it is gonna be about color, then I am ready with both barrels to make it about color.

and don't throw that racist BS label on me. I have several black friends who are disgusted with the inner city black vote. One even told me the other day that he understood Obama getting the black vote, but he never thought the "nigger vote" would be so sought after.
he was refering to the ignorant inner city welfare , crack addicts who do not attempt to educate themselves.... If this guy ran, I would vote for a black man. so take your racist label and stick it !

You started this crap FAT BOY.....so don't come at me trying to justify your narrow mind.

I do feel sorry for you kids if they have to endure this type of crap from you.

Ohhhh...how noble of you that you've had some ' black' friends.... I bet they feel really LUCKY

twist it how you want, I see the true path this nation is on. go light up a "roll your own" and revel in your newly elected commie. He has no substance or basis on where he is. that makes him a puppet.... the real question is, who's hand is up his ass running him ???

so if it appears I am a racist, I don't care. the militant black panther type crowd has no desire for racial equality...they want racial dominance. they want to get on top and punish us, for things that happened 250 years ago.

I am of Irish decent, I don't want to get in power and make the English pay for the way they went after the Irish in the 1600's.
