Never said I served. Too young for Vietnam, and through college & in the workforce after that. But, my family has done their share since the Civil War, serving in that war, WWI, my Dad in WWII, one of my Dad's cousins being captured at Corregidor, surviving the Bataan Death March, and finally escaping the Jap POW camp on Palawan after more than three years a prisoner, a cousin who did 2 tours in Nam as a door gunner in a helicopter and a nephew who was a 1st LT in the 82D Airborne and did a stint in Afghanistan at the very beginning of that action and then did a stint in Iraq. I have an idea of what service entails, but yeah, I'm a paper tiger.
