My, how things can change in a hurry. The first of the week life was good, cows all AIed and out on grass, got a nice rain, and farming done for this year, just getting ready to start haying. Then got word that a close friend of mine was killed while salting cows on a four wheeler in the White River breaks. The only thing is he died doing what he loved being out side on a real nice day. I really feel bad for his folks as this is the second son they have bearied in the last ten years or so. I don't think I could stand that. It has just put a damper on the rest of my week. I know things can happen on a horse, as well as a four wheeler, or in a pickup but people please be careful out there, life is so fragil. Maybe next week will be better.
