That was a close call Lilly~little too close for comfort.

Glad he is home and on the mend.

That's really a touching picture of Lil Lilly with her arms wrapped around her horse.

Took Toilet Paper in for his checkup today. They checked him over good. Took blood samples to make sure everthangs where it should be...and it was. When he was released they'd told us that it'd be 60 days before she could do any ridin.....well......he's doin so well that they said that Oct 26 she can get back on him and start gettin him legged back up. WooooHOOOOO!!!! she didnt get to go today, they had a outta town volleyball game...so it was a surprise for her when she got home and we got to tell her....

Congratulations, Lilly. Sometimes it's amazing how fast they heal up.
And other times it takes forever.

I'm very happy for you all...not to mention Toilet Paper!!!!!!!

OH...n we stopped at the store shortly after leavin the vets office, and by golly I went in and bought him a bag of vanilla cream cookies...his favorite.....and marched right out to the trailer and gave him one. First cookie he's had since the surgery.......didnt take him long to gobble it down LOL

Whew...I was wondering if ole TP was gonna get his favorite cookie!!! I should of known that "mom" would be thinking of him...Glad to hear he's gonna be back chasing cans soon...! :lol: :D :D :D
