No, I'm just wondering because I currently have a 3.9999999 with an extra credit coming up that'll put me right over the top. In my opinion, you ought to be the one who should be scared. I wonder what it'll be like when I actually get through college...... :)

As I have stated before, I understand that. It is simply the grounds on which Kolanuraven accuses me. Therefore, I'm using what ammo I have in that sector to argue with.

But it makes one more "Knowledgeable", and have more items stored in the brain from which to base a decision on.

So in a sense, it DOES make him smartER than those who have no education.

Maybe not for menial tasks such as writing down an animal ID or simplistic actions as these though. For those..... you don't have to be any smarter than the average 5th grader.

There's a real classy response from a supposed adult to a 14 year-old who has every right to be proud of his grades. :???:

You libs are disgusting. I guess picking on the Palin kids must have got good to you - now you even want to do it to the young people here on Ranchers that disagree with your liberal agenda. Pathetic.

Backhoe, I'm sorry, but I think this here thread is off to a better start than the other one. :D

You are doing alright kid. They are simply reading the wrong books.

It is psychology 101 they don't understand. Most of them giving you grief are stuck in the victim mode. They don't know the difference between dependent, independent, and interdependent. It is quite simple and if they read a book written by Ann McGee Cooper, it would all be crystal clear. But Obama probably wouldn't have been elected and they'd all be productive members of society instead of whining victims.

Where you go in life is where you put yourself. Where do you want to be 20 years from now? You could be a whining victim just like many who frequent this forum. (dependent) Or you could blame everyone else for your situation (independent) Or you could be a productive member of this country (interdependent)

Do you see yourself as a shaker and doer?

They can't keep a good man down. They cannot control your thinking. You cannot help someone who won't help themselves.

You can give them an avenue to vent. I assume that is your motive with this thread? :D

You're going to find some folks just can't find something to be happy about.

They aren't as bad as those who choose to be miserable and insist that everyone else in the world be miserable too.

Laughing releases endorphines in the system. It helps the body rid itself of toxins. Find something to smile about regularly. Hang out with happy folks. Whistle while you work so to speak.

If you need to vent, vent away and get it out. Then get on with things. Don't keep things all pent up and go around making everyone else miserable.

Some things are simply beyond our control. Like this election. This won't last forever. I've angled myself into a win win situation no matter what happens. That's going to make the democrats madder than they already were. :D

You are on the right track. You could be watching the boob tube or else playing nintendo. The are some pretty sick sites out there you could be surfing as well.

When you succeed, everyone will take credit for being your mentor. Just smile and know they are proud of you. None of them can give you the desire or drive to achieve. That will come from within and you know it.

Set some goals and make sure they are realistic. Achieve them and then set some new ones.

There will always be people trying to change your mind or hold you back. Don't let any of it lose your focus.

Where you go in life is where you put yourself. Don't wake up at 40 years old and decide that you don't like where you have put yourself.
