You do not have to go to Greece to see what you get with socialized medicine. In Sask. we have two hospitals in Regina and all our emergencies from the city and surrounding area including most of the southern part of the Province are sent there and today I was told that one of those big hospitals is closing their emergency room doors on Tuesday nights as they do not have enough doctors and nurses to staff it 7 days a week. All emergencies will be will be sent to the one hospital if it is Tuesday night.

the good news is that Canada will gain doctors, under obamacare. North America will still be short, but shortages will be averaged out.

They just announced the World Health Organization that made this announcement about Greece was Wrong, as their comments were based on a very small sampling and turns out not to reflect the truth.

Just thought I would let you know I heard today that Our Sask Government made a deal to stop the emergency room from closing for at least two more weeks. And the first story I heard needs to be corrected. The ER that was slated to close was closing every night not just Tuesdays like I was first told. But a deal has now been made to pay the doctors 13% more and in return they will keep the ER open for two more weeks in hopes the Province can bring in more Doctors to take some of the work load off the doctors.

Welcome to single payer government run healthcare guys.
