Made it back from the Island of Cozumel last night. Almost hated to leave.

The boy decided to take scuba lessons. Did the required lessons and dives while we were there to become a certified scuba diver. Probably not real useful where we live, but maybe it's something he'll pursue later on....at least on vacation.

Thanks all. It was also, I'm pretty sure, cheaper than...say....a Disney vacation where you also end up standing in line for hours to ride the rides. Much lower stress level and also probably more English spoken than at Disneyland  The buffet and restaurants at the Iberostar, where we stayed, were outstanding for the most part. Rooms smelled a little mildewy, but were tolerable. There were a few English speaking channels on the television, like CNN and Discovery.Take alot of dollar bills with you for tips. One of our credit cards quit working because it was flagged for fraudulent charges, so it's a good idea to have an extra. All in all, we'd go back in an instant. If you ever get there, don't let the police at the airport with German Shepherds and AK47's intimidate you.

 Just thinking of past advice on here about traveling south of the border. We did accidentally pack a bottle of Tequilla in the kids carry-on luggage on the way home, though. He's like....underage.

Looked like Mr. Froggy was picking up his prom date in one of those pics. :p

I think there is a scuba club in Ogallala, NE......but what a great idea to send him down to put a chain on a cow if she falls in a bog hole! :D That would make it a legitimate tax deduction!
