this weather sucks, but I am content, cause in less than 90 days, this fat boy will be in Jamaica !!!!

10 days of tropical drinks, big hooters, and small bikini's.........

At least it ain't blowin'.

Yes, there's something very wrong with me, but for some strange reason I'd rather be calving out cows in the cold in Nebraska than to be in Jamaica. I can't swim, don't drink, hate hot muggy weather, and look terrible in Bermuda shorts. Give me the good old Sandhills any day. :)

As Will Rogers once said, "You would be surprised what there is to see in this great country within 200 miles of where any of us live. I don't care what state or what town."

Leave it to a wheathead to figger the best time to go to the tropics is in the late spring/early summer. Guess they can't decipher a calendar.

10 days of explosive diarrhea, strange food not limited to chicken guts on a stick, overpriced drinks, hellacious sunburn, and fat chicks in thongs. Yeah, boy!

AM WITH YOU, SOAP!! EXCESSIVE HEAT AND HUMIDITY NEVER DID MUCH FOR ME, EITHER!! WOULD NOT MIND HAVING SOMETHING BESIDES -15 DEGREES AND A LITTLE MORE SUNSHINE, BUT AM NOT MUCH FOR BIG CROWDS!! GIVE ME A NICE, QUIET LAKE, A LAWN CHAIR, A GOOD BOOK AND A FEW GOOD FRIENDS WITH "FIREBALL" AND COKE....YEP, SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD VACATION TO ME!! :D

Nope..... No foreign countries for me either......Seeing steve is climbing up my bucket list... There is soooo much to see in the good ole USA. I do find that this cold weather is tough on this ole girl. But springtime with curlews are the greatest thing for me.

I'm with Soapweed, I wouldn't thrive in that island enviroment, I'd also take calving in nasty weather first. It's the only time I get home sick. Besides, Soap is already surrounded by beautiful girls, that can help him and are certainly better company than one in a bikini, trolling for rich KS ranchers. :)
Also have to agree that there are alot of things to see within ONE tank of fuel from home here. Of course, I cant affort TWO tanks. I like to ride and work alot of the same country over and over, and see different things each time.

I would have rather went on the Alaskan cruise, but a 3-1 vote cancelled me out. the other couple going talked us into it, and we are trying to squeeze it in before the summer rates go up, and after school is out. ( she is a teacher)

I agree, there is a lot to see not far from home, but after 20 years of marriage, my wife pointed out that we never went anywhere...this ought to buy me a few years of peace and quiet....

I will be sure to send you a pic of my bikini NR....

So, Jigs, with your record are they going to let you get on the airplane? And if you happen to get out of this country, will they ever let you back? :? :???:

Just kidding. :)

Hope you have an absolutely 'mahvaluss" time in Jamaica. Take lots of photographs to share with us boring old homebodies.

Take Immodium, Jiggsy.....and PLENTY of it. Also, take enough sunscreen to lather up your gourd so the top of your haid doesn't end up looking like a huge tomato......and leave the Speedos at home!

Not a water, beach, or heat fan--But even Jamaica is starting to sound good...

35 Below last night- with 95% humidity- and 10-15 mph winds.....This has been one Hellacious winter....

I agree. Yesterday was right on the freezing mark, this morning about -30. This has been a bleak miserable winter and I can't wait for it to be over. Sure hope things turn around before calving.
But I'll count my blessings, at least it's not +40...... then you'd really hear me whine
