My sister and the Kosmo Kid. We are riding to go round up a pretty good-sized pasture for another day of preconditioning calves.

Houston, we have a problem. :???: This is a case of a Peach upsetting an apple cart. Fortunately she landed clear and wasn't hurt. We feel very blessed.

Soapweeds have always had an effect on Peach. They seem to be a stumbling block for her, or in this case something to tip over.

Good old Goose and a lariat rope, along with two ladies pushing, allowed the Polaris to land back on its wheels.
It wasn't damaged in the turn over, and it seems to still run just fine.

Glad to know Peach wasn't hurt. You let her know that if she had been going a little faster she would have landed back or her wheels. :D

Your cattle look in better condition than last year, good luck with your calves at the sale.

maybe a good thing the ranger had a roll cage so once it hit its side it didn't keep rolling. so was Peach's foof still touching the passenger side on her way out when the ranger was going over? maybe in this case it's a good thing she wasn't wearing the seat belt, to give her time....or was she?
good to hear nobody was hurt.

Glad Peach walked away from that!!

Nice FAT calves, Soap, and cows too! They do look good!!!!!
Really liked the horse pictures, especially the first one.

Have you even heard of a western artist named Patrica
Graves? That first horse picture reminded me of some of her work.

Peach should have just tied ole Ranger down and let him sulk for awhile. :D

Glad she came out of it OK. Has she ever thought about one of those bull rider vests?

Thanks everyone for the concern. Peach came out unscathed. I am just proud of her because she got right back on that nasty old Polaris and didn't let it get the idea it could buck her off and get away with it.

Soooo??? Who is barefooted? If Peach had of had her spurs, might have been different. Alls well that ends well I guess.

Peach likes wearing lightweight shoes while walking and working in the corral. She had her boots along in case she ended up doing any riding. Good thing she wasn't barefooted because there are sandburrs galore.

It was a good thing the outfit had a rollbar. She said everything happened in kind of slow motion, so she had time to get out of the way. Her seatbelt wasn't fastened, and alcohol wasn't a factor.

Glad Peach is Ok. Thank you for posting pics. My crew gets entirely too invincible when it come to those motorized horses and I have heard more than once how stable it is. I am most worried about the teens and the Seventy somethings but now also a word of caution to those of us in between. :!: :!:

Excellent lookin' calf crop Soap! Looks like the motorized horse can throw you off just as easy as the real kind.

All's well that ends well. :)

Glad to see Peach survived her ordeal. Things like that can happen quickly and sometimes have far worse outcomes. An aquaintance of mine was killed a few days ago in one of these machines, he was unfortunate enough to not get quite clear when things went south.
Nice to see your country still has a hint of colour and the critturs are looking healthy and content.
