Al has been working with her every evening, and she's doing great, 28 days to go!
Tillie, waiting patiently for Al to get around to giving her some attention:
Just like a female, she's got to play hard to catch for a while.........
She doesn't give him too bad a time though, he walks right up to her:
How's this for co-operation? She sticks her nose right in the halter! lol
Al says, C'mon, Tillie.........and away they go!
However, she wasn't overly thrilled with her first rinsing off.........and he really didn't work on getting her very clean, just wanted her to start getting used to the hose, the feel of water running off her.....stuff like that. Too bad he doesn't have a "heifer-sized" bathtub......lol
Tillerie (as I call her, all our critters have to have specially-bestowed "mom" nicknames) understands and pretty regularly obeys a couple of commands. She will start walking when Al tells her, "C'mon, Tillie". When he stops, he tells her "stand" and she will almost always "set up" for him.
If they keep up like this, I think the fair will be a breeze for them, if she doesn't suddenly acquire her mother's attitude about strange things.
