You can keep your prescription drug plan if you like it - NOT!
The agency in charge of Medicare is once again threatening to overhaul your prescription drug plan.
Even though the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently withdrew its Proposed Rule changes that would have affected Medicare Part D, the prescription drug benefit is still at risk. Through regulation, CMS can still reduce choice and raise premiums for mature Americans.
With these changes, millions of seniors could lose their plans and be forced into more expensive ones. Does that sound familiar? We've seen in happen with health insurance. Now, you may not be able to keep your Medicare prescription drug plan even if you like it.
This regulation is just another example of big government undermining free-market enterprise and competition. The government should not be interfering in your prescription drug benefit.
The agency will finalize these changes any day now, so timing is critical. We strongly urge you to contact your Representative about this potentially harmful regulation. Tell the government to keep their hands off your Medicare drug plan and rescind this regulation.
