I have 2 excuses for being in this late,

1. Out playing cards at the neighbor gals' last night, sleep time.. 2 AM, wake time 8:10 AM. Don't know how Hay Maker does it, 3 women and me, had fun but I'm not accustomed to staying awake that late.

2. -30 C this morning. Got the plant started and it took a couple of hours of plug in time for the tractor at home to start.

Started feeding Morrison Meadow yesterday. Still grass left and not much snow but these temps and making the young end of the cows work for a living don't pay off in the end. When it warms up I may slack off the hay again.

We had a 40th and a 60th birthday party saturday night up until 3 am  . Then up late last night working on taxes until 3 am then up and on the road to a tax appointment this morning at 7 am. After that my accountant says I should go buy something so we went looking at new skidloaders. I don't know if thats going to happen or not alot of money.Bought a new truck last week and a tractor a month ago still not enough. I might just say the heck with it and pay some more taxes.

Attaboy Denny! I like your approach to helping the economy - buying new stuff AND paying more taxes! Should help ease the fall over that fiscal cliff!

(Or is that a bad joke?) :?
