I'll bet he don't go to sleep before seven oclock tonight for worrying about it.

Interesting though, eh. The Pope can say much the same as the Duck Dynasty guy and become "Man of the Year", and the Robertson guy gets canned by A&E

Would it be racist to demonize all the black ministers/preachers in the US who also feel that homosexuality is a sin?

What where they thinking? I keep hearing how Phil (a previous millionaire long before A & E) should have just kept his mouth shut because he was being paid, why would the same not apply to A & E?

I highly doubt that the following of a family that prays in each episode was mostly atheistic. Therefor, suspending him for his consistent views, and likely the views of a far majority of shows viewing audience, cannot make financial sense. A&E being suspended from the homes of millions of American's seems much more logical.

Yep, I guess liberals are really that dumb.

A&E Ignores Other Stars’ Vulgar Pro-Gay Comments

Robertson, a devout Christian, expressed his disbelief that a man could choose another man as a sexual partner when a woman has “got more to offer.” For comments such as this, based entirely on his own personal beliefs, he was kicked off of the show he helped make a ratings giant for A&E.

Chris Morelli and Tad Eaton responded with a crass rebuttal which garnered no such punishment. The same-sex couple expressed their preference for “man a**,” which they say “beats vagina any day of the week.”

The fact that they treated their homosexual personalities differently is a testament to the power of today’s homosexual agenda.

Broken “News”: Duck Dynasty Star Breaks Law With Recent Comments

WEST MONROE, LA—In what should come as no surprise to anyone, Duck Dynasty‘s Phil Robertson, patriarch of the Robertson family that the show is centered on, has been suspended by A&E for recent comments he made in GQ magazine about the gay community.

Robertson has recently come under fire for comments he made in an interview with the magazine, in which he states his personal beliefs about gay marriage. Unbeknownst to Robertson, a law was recently passed that makes his comments not only highly offensive, but completely illegal.

Paragraph 182, sub-section H of the Political Fairness and Completely Unoffensive Semi-Free Speech Provided Usage of Said Speech Does Not Infringe Upon The Feelings Or Beliefs Of Any Other Person act, affectionately known as the “How Dare You” act, specifically states:

“Therefore, whosoever explicitly abuses the protection of the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States by actively participating in televised, broadcasted or written speech that is deemed offensive, antagonistic, or unsupportive to another person, organization, affiliation, entity, or cause, regardless of personal belief or opinion, shall be punished by removal from any or all public forums and a fine not to exceed $713.00 per statement. A hand-written apology and a share of the offending party’s yearly earnings shall henceforth be granted unto the offended party for a time period not to exceed 3 months and the hourly minimum wage or $15 whichever is less .”

Robertson apparently became aware of the law shortly after the backlash began pouring in, as he has declined any further comment on the matter.

Robertson and his family own and operate Duck Commander, a wildly profitable duck call company that has amassed both a fortune and a fan base for the family. Airing on A&E, Duck Dynasty follows the day-to-day operations of CEO Willie Robertson and family as they attempt to balance wild redneck behavior, life lessons and business management with family values and genuine faith.

Timothy Smith, a spokesperson for A&E who spoke to us on condition of anonymity, expressed confidence that without the support of the network and the profits generated by Duck Dynasty, the Robertson clan would struggle to maintain the comfortable existence they currently enjoy. Attempts to get a direct quote from Mr. Smith have all been redirected to a disconnected office phone extension.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney has weighed in on the controversy.

“Obviously, President Obama has been a very vocal supporter of both the Robertson family and Duck Dynasty and is extremely disappointed in Phil Robertson for the comments he made,” he said, “Even more shocking is the fact that he quoted the Bible to justify his statements. I mean, how many people is he trying to offend?”

These statements were echoed by Thamsanqa Jantijie, a sign language interpreter recently applauded for a flawless and emotional translation of President Obama’s speech at Nelson Mandela’s funeral, which was covered on Jimmy Kimmel: Live and can be seen here.

Our latest attempt to reach out to Phil Robertson was met with indifference, though we’re told he is currently spending time with his family. His one passing remark for proponents of the law was for them to “go fly a kite.”

It would'nt be racist to demonize them ,but it would be to ask that question.Does a company have the right to fire an employee who breaks the company rules?I assume A and E have rules against homo -degrading talk.

I have read the article.. and other then Phil stating he prefers a woman to a man and can't understand why others wouldn't.. in pretty straight forward terms,.. he didn't say anything degrading..

another gay so-called A&E star used the same words in reverse and is still on the air..

if it is wrong to say it to them,.. then it is wrong to say it to US..

but feel free to enlighten US and show US what he said that is so offensive, that you disagree with...

Swedish Pastor Faces Jail for Preaching against Homosexuality

A Swedish pastor who preached a sermon on the Biblical prohibitions against homosexual behavior is waiting to see if the Supreme Court of Sweden will send him to jail for six months for doing so.

Ake Green, the pastor of a small-town Pentecostal church, delivered his sermon in 2003 and has been in the prosecutor’s crosshairs ever since. Charged with violating a Swedish hate speech law that protects homosexuals from “intimidation” and “agitation,” he was sentenced to a month in jail last year by a district court. An appeals court overturned his conviction, but the prosecutor has appealed to the Supreme Court and has asked that the 68-year-old pastor’s jail term be increased to six months.

The Supreme Court heard arguments this month and is expected to rule sometime next year.

The pastor backs up everything he says with verses from the Bible. At no point does he advocate violence against homosexuals, condone hatred or rejection of them, or recommend any action but prayer and the preaching of the gospel

No argument Steve.Homosexuality is a sin.No racism to it but demonizing black preachers could be racist.Remember that the constitution is a set of laws to govern and protect the rights of all the the people, not a religion.
