To Mr Van Dyke - Here is a suggestion to solve this.

This whole thing is getting out of hand with all the distrust and conspiracies and mud slinging.

There is a way to solve this. We have been told that the cattle came from Manitoba the day before slaughter. There are only two places to cross from Manitoba.

This is how to contact them

Dunseith (C) Dr. Anne Scully
USDA-APHIS-VS
RR1, Box 117
Dunseith, ND 58329-0117
(701) 263-3364 Office
(701) 263-3375 Fax

Pembina (C) Dr. Steve Swartz
USDA-APHIS-VS
P.O. Box 396
Pembina, ND 58271-0396
(701) 825-6262 Office
(701) 825-6820 Fax

I would put my money on Dunseith. A lot of cattle go through there. If you have the numbers from those tags, I suggest you contact these ports of entry yourself and ask them directly. See if they will tell you the dates of entry. If you are polite, they may tell you, especially since you are involved in this mess.

I have had dealings with both of these USDA vets. They are both extremely competent and honest. To imagine them involved in some kind of coverup is pretty hard to believe.

Speak to them in person, and settle this nonsense once and for all please.

Or else maybe send OT to the border to approach Dr. Scully in person about her integrity and honesty. We will be sitting in lawn chairs on the Canadian side to watch the show. It would be worth selling tickets for. Fireworks in February!

Kato, good suggestion and information.

For the record, I want to say that when I speak of the USDA in derogatory terms it is the political shenanigans they are pulling on the political level and not on the individual level like the vets you are talking about. I don't generally have a negative feeling about the individuals in the system rather their handlers and the system that they have been given for the benefit of the puppeteer's contributors. There are a lot of good people who work in the USDA who have to be ignorant to save their jobs or to do dirty work. I happen to know a lot of people who will do neither both in DC and in the field. It is the people managing these things that need to be blamed, not the working stiff.

Now if these people mentioned above were to "manage" the truth, as has been a problem for this administration, then there would need be concern.
