A little snow and lots of winter grazing. Younger cows on banked grass and barley stubble at the next door neighbors.

They love that stuff the combine left behind.

Doesn't get much better than this for my cows.

Also a look at the cows still at our west ranch.
TroyMirandaNov10046.jpg

They were spread all over the place.

Your cattle appear quite content, and the snow looks to be eventually useful. You live in a pretty part of the country. Thanks for the pictures.

Your cows sure look good, Cows can graze through a lot of snow if there's good feed underneath and the snow doesn't get too hard which sometimes happens here.

Could the last photo have been titled "Urban Cow-Boys"? :D

Cattle are doing well Per. Our grass does not have the punch yours does at this time of year. We have been on half feed for over a week. As long as we don't get more snow we may make mid- Dec in this fashon.

Thanks for the photos of fat cows.

Those Boys would certainly be considered City boys to some of you. They can see the glow of the bright lights. Also the smog can be seen in the background of the picture. Of course around here if there is a temperature inversion holding the smog down it means that warm air is not too far away.
