I been thinking of the following thought and I wondering what we would do as a Christians if we would to have the following opportunity:

As I was reading the story of Jesus last supper, I thought of the following:

How would I thank Jesus for giving his life for me? Wonder what would be some ways that we could live a gracious life in ways that we can represent Jesus' humility, kindness, and selfless spirit?

May today be filled with bliss.

We again attended the community-wide Good Friday communion service this morning, a highlight of the year for me. Big crowd, maybe 800 or more.

My wife and I sat beside a big chap who immediately turned to me with some seemingly harsh, almost rude questions which I found most unusual. He would wait for my replies like a cat ready to pounce on a mouse.

It took a lot of "diplomacy" to find the best responses to topics that ranged from the "right church", the "best national anthem" (his choice was the Star Spangled Banner" :tiphat:), the "South Rules!", Global Warming, and on and on until the service started. (And even a few during...)

I find out later that the poor chap is schizophrenic and the smallest upset can turn him into a screaming beast that needs physical restraint!

So, in this case, we could have seen an entirely different outcome to a Good Friday service had I decided to not respond graciously to my neighbor.

Christ died for all of us, regardless of how our brokenness shows itself!

It sounds like a lovely way to celebrate Good Friday. Regarding "diplomacy" it is quite a difficult thing to master at times, but it pays off at the end. I am currently starting to study the Bible again, and I am looking forward to reading the teachings so that I can remind myself of what Jesus went through for us. I must confess that as I get older it is getting more difficult to be patient with other people. I suppose many people go through this stage in life...

Happy Easter to all of you!

Remember Easter Morning EVERYDAY instead of once a year. Live our faith instead of just talking it.

Hi "TexasBred,"
Thank you for the good piece of advice.

Maybe you are right, I will have to reflect into my life and find the ways in how I am living "our faith" to the best possible ways. Maybe you could teach this "naive" young person a few ways on how you live your "faith" on a daily basis.

Hope you'll have a great week.
