LOL I didn't even think about that....but I do believe it's a mare.

i hope you are right. if it was a gelding, he will never be the same. not to mention the explenation he will have give to the "boys" when he gets back to the barn, if he has enough pride left to go back to the barn

Talk about hurting your horse's pride!!!! Justin, you of all people have no room to talk! You bulldogged off those poor horses! Those minnie mouse ears would be welcomed by your abused ponies! All the cool horses standing around talking mares and protien content and they see your horse and the start snickering about timed events behind his tail! Poor horses! They looked forward to the big glue factory in the sky just to get away from the misery and hurt that comes from watching a full grown man jump off of a perfectly good horse at a high rate of speed onto a set of horns! And then realize that his own rider was STILL gonna lose the pretty girls to a bullrider!  :D Great pictures Lilly! :D

Whats with all the hostility against bulldoggers. I rode saddle bronc, calf roped, team roped, and bulldogged in HS and college. Bulldogging was my favorite event. And believe me if youve never rode a bulldogging horse your are missing out. Its worse than riding broncs, cause you never know what its gonna do, but they still have the heart to hold a 225 lb man off the side of him. To me, bull riding has turned into a spectacle. Just like NCAA, NBA, NHL, MLB and NFL. I work the bulls for Chris Shivers and i tell him that all the time. And believe me, I NEVER lost a girl to a bull rider. They arent looked to highly upon down in my neck of the woods.

I was at a barrel racing friday night with my girlfriend and they had alot of thosekids with their horses dressed up. That kinda stuff has got to be hell on the horse but great for the kids.
