This cow wanted a handout, and I thought to myself "what would Soapweed do?" , so I grabbed the camera, and here's how it went.

Nice lookin critters...they look fat and happy. I'm not gonna show hubby your feed outfit..or he'll have the bale moover from his truck mounted on my cake truck! I see you've got a "cake baby" too...I'm getting to many and they maul me at the door, can't hardly get out of the truck! Thanks for the pictures..

Well, ol' Soapweed doesn't hand feed any pet cows anymore. They become too much of a nuisance.

I used to like to feed them out of my hand when I was younger and more idealistic, but now I'm old and grouchy  :-) . I like gentle cattle, but I like them to respect "my space" and I will in turn respect "their space".

I think you understood my point Soapweed, but to be clear, when I posted I was referring to your photography genius, rather than how you feed a cow.

I don't mind having a few pets around, so if we are shorthanded (usually the case) when we absolutely need to move them, that they will come a runnin'. Such as if bad weather is coming in the spring, and we need to get them closer to home. I sure remember the personality of a few of these "pets", or "pests" over the years.

Thank you, Tap. Good thing that ol' cow didn't have any teeth on top or you might have got your fingers bit. :-)
