As wind had been a scarce commodity for a couple days, I needed to check windmills. It was a beautiful day,
so my 86-year-old dad decided to ride along. We had a very enjoyable afternoon.

He enjoyed the afternoon, thinking the Polaris Ranger was smoother riding than either a saddle horse or a pickup.
I filled it with gas before we left, and punched the trip button on the speedometer. We covered right at 30 miles
before we returned home. Dad thought our old South Dakota hills looked pretty good. I did remind him
that we've received quite a bit more rain this summer than is normal.
