(Angry Patriot Movement) – When a top and well-decorated Army general resigned from the United States Military, he dropped an enormous truth bomb on President Barack Obama.

Army Chief of Staff General Ray Odierno said it was “frustrating” to watch the gains ISIS made and the progress he helped achieve in Iraq completely disintegrate during the Obama administration. General Odierno said the horrific and bloody chaos now unfolding “might have been prevented” if the United States had stayed engaged in the region.

“It’s frustrating to watch it,” General Odierno said. “I go back to the work we did in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010, and we got it to a place that was really good. Violence was low, the economy was growing, politics looked like it was heading in the right direction.”

....“I think it would have been good for us to stay,” Odierno said when asked for his opinion on the removal of troops by Barack Obama. His recommendations to keep 30,000 to 35,000 troops in Iraq at the end of 2011 were reportedly ignored by Obama.

Afghanistan: Sangin almost entirely in Taliban hands

Latest reports from southern Afghanistan suggest that Sangin district in Helmand province is now almost entirely under Taliban control after days of fierce fighting.

Sangin saw almost a quarter of British military fatalities during the UK's combat mission in Afghanistan.
Of the 456 UK military deaths in Afghanistan from 2001 to 2015, almost a quarter were killed in and around Sangin
US and British troops have been sent to Helmand in the last few days, but in an advisory role only.

And not only has corruption in Kunduz been causing indignation, which prompts some to join the Taliban, or at least to choose not to interfere with their activities, but there has been evidence over the years of collusion between government officials and the Taliban, selling them munitions and supplies, corrupt judges letting them out of jail and so on.
