totally shocked by Vietnam..

maybe they realize what the lost....

on another sad note..

Over the last couple of years, the world has lost a lot of faith in the idea that the USA values personal freedom.
Across the board people recognize that personal freedom is not valued as highly by our government today, and that freedom in America has obviously eroded under the Obama administration.

I wonder if Obama would blame this on Bush too?

some of the numbers would shock you.. Egypt.. only 10% like US..

even Venezuela likes US more then the Ukraine does today..

Do they feel let down by Obummer?

When 9/11 happened, my wife had an aunt living in Cairo. The aunt called us to see if we were OK. The aunt reported the Egyptians were dancing and celebrating in the streets over the attack on America. We found out later that the party went on for days. Yeah, they really love us there.

The Philippines being our #1 pals? They want our money, and they'd really like to lease Subic back to us, and they will smile and bow and say "Sair! Sair!" when they want our attention, but there are many, many places there where a white man wouldn't even want to show his face at high noon. It's not a safe place at all. Life is extremely cheap and if you have money, you have power. Corrupt to the core.

The people of Egypt have no use for the Muslim Brotherhood either, so when obama started siding with them, it only increased the level of hatred...

...how are the non-terrorist citizens of Libya feeling about the US, at present?

Seems OT and his chosen one always seem to be siding with those terrorists that will restrict personal freedoms in those Countries.

but, I guess that makes sense, seeing as it is the "Leftists" that are also trying to restrict the freedoms and liberty of the US citizens...

some Tunisian news, re oil, for those in the play with me:

Just in... Jomaa asks deputies to give the green light to a number of hydrocarbons exploration and extraction concessions

BARDO, (TAP) - Speaking Wednesday at the general debate in the National Constituent Assembly (NCA), on the supplementary draft finance law, Interim Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa said “Tunisia has every strengths to succeed, starting with labour discipline, the sense of sacrifice and perseverance.”
“Because the establishment of a new development model requires more time, the government has been led to focus on priorities of the current stage,” he added.

According to him, the development model applied by Tunisia over the past years “has not helped create the expected job positions and therefore led the country to rely on debt to cover spending, with now the risk that if the situation persists, the country would borrow money to repay its debt.”

Mehdi Jomaa said, in the same vein, that the main priorities of the government is to reach elections and combat terrorism, pointing to the doubling of the budgets of the Ministries of the Interior and National Defence.

“The government has asked the departments to curb their expenses except those of the Defence and the Interior, besides the recruitment of 500 national guardsmen,” he also said.

Jomaa added that steps have been taken with sisterly and friendly countries and led to the opening of lines of credit, some of which are already operational under financial support for the fight against terrorism.

“However, he said, the problem is not financial when it comes to the fight against terrorism but rather relates to the time factor which is the main obstacle to the purchase of equipment and supplies to fight this scourge, due to the unavoidable time of talks with supplier countries and also delivery dates.

Mehdi Jomaa justified the lower development budget by “the need to adapt to the capacity of implementation of development projects,” saying it is more “appropriate to allocate priority funding to cost-effective and feasible projects, contrary to what was done over the past years.

Jomaa also asked deputies to keep the issue of energy away from political quarrels and frictions and give the green light to a number of hydrocarbons exploration and extraction concessions, noting that oil production fell from 70,000 barrels/day.

Like I said...

U.S. President Barack Obama on Friday praised Tunisia as the poster child of the Arab Spring, as Washington unveiled $500 million in new assistance to help revive the North Africa nation’s faltering economy as it continues its march toward democracy.

the Ukraine will also become to hate the US, when they find out how much Barry's meddling has cost them.

The Fund said in its latest review of Kiev's compliance with terms of a $17.0-billion (12.6-billion-euro) rescue that Ukraine faced new headwinds that were not envisioned when the programme was unveiled in early May.

Burisma Holdings is a privately owned oil and gas company with assets in Ukraine and operating in the energy market since 2002. To date, the company holds a portfolio with permits to develop fields in the Dnieper-Donets, the Carpathian and the Azov-Kuban basins.

R. Hunter Biden will be in charge of the Holdings’ legal unit and will provide support for the Company among international organizations. On his new appointment, he commented: “Burisma’s track record of innovations and industry leadership in the field of natural gas means that it can be a strong driver of a strong economy in Ukraine.

as most liberals, I would not expect you to have any principles, as $$, is your god.

Or, will you claim to be one of those Republicans, corrupted by big business $$?

Do you get your payoff, at the front, or backend.

Republicans get the political donations, and Democrats get it from skimming off the taxpayer, which are you?

Voluntary contributors have the freedom to choose, and the taxpayer is obligated, with the threat of imprisonment, which method of freedom of speech/theft do you agree with?

I guess when you are selling yourself to non-contributors, like the Democrats do...there's only one choice, eh? You'll vote Democrat.

Kinda like OT, once he retired. Before that, and while building up his "nest egg", he was a "true Conservative"

http://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2014/05/r-hunter-biden-declare-owns-new-ukrainian-employer-burisma-holdings.html

as they say,... follow the money.. and once Putin overstepped his boundaries.. many political elite saw an opportunity to get rich, like the former Ukrainian/Russian billionaires have.. stealing it off the backs of the poor...

9. This has to be a hoax, right?

It’s so bizarre that you almost have to assume it’s a hoax. It sounds more like a cliched movie plot — a shady foreign oil company co-opts the vice president’s son in order to capture lucrative foreign investment contracts — than something that would actually happen in real life. But the indications as of this afternoon are that the board appointments actually happened, and that a Ukrainian energy company has retained the counsel of the vice president’s son and the Secretary of State’s close family friend and top campaign bundler.

so much for helping the poor,.. instead like their rich Russian counterparts they are helping themselves to a pile of money..

ain't liberal hypocrisy great...
