Isn't it about time? Heck, no, it's past time!! They have picked the best person possible to Chair this committee. They say Trey Gowdy is a bulldog.
I read where he never lost a case as prosecutor. Just what American needs
in this situation. He'll ask the right questions.!

They need to put Jason Chaffetz on the committee with Trey Gowdey.

If they can use none sitting politicians, I hope they bring in Allen West to question those Military higher ups that dared to say they couldn't send in help as the Military doesn't send soldiers in where they don't know the dangers. I thought the US left no man behind but I guess under Obama you only get saved if you are lucky enough to be attacked by little old ladies beating you with their purse.

Here is another case the Boehner needs to step up and put a stop to with a Special Committee. How can you get to the bottom of the issue when email evidence proves one of the head Democrats in the investigation is into the corruption to his neck and has spent the whole time trying to stop the rest of the committee from finding out he is involved. Congressman Jim Jordan needs to keep pushing for a Special Committee on this issue and Issa needs to be relieved of his duties on this investigation too. It is beginning to look like he really doesn't want to get to the bottom of any investigation. He is letting the Dems lie, stonewall plead the fifth and he does nothing to get to the truth. He needs to either quit wasting peoples time and quit or get serious with these people and hold them in Contempt IN JAIL until they start spilling their guts.

Rep. Issa Reveals Emails Between Rep. Cummings' Staff and Targets of IRS Investigation
by John Sexton 9 Apr 2014 2956 post a comment

The heat in the IRS investigation just went up. Rep. Darrell Issa, head of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, sent a letter today to ranking member Rep. Elijah Cummings in which he accuses Cummings of working to "obstruct the investigation" into IRS misbehavior.

The bulk of Rep. Issa's letter is devoted to some recently uncovered emails which demonstrate that Rep. Cummings was seeking information on True the Vote, the voter integrity group based in Texas which became the target of much unwanted government attention.

Cummings' staff contacted the IRS in August 2012 to inform them that they would be opening an investigation into True the Vote's activities. Then in October 2012 Cummings' office began requesting information directly from True the Vote which was very similar to what had previously been requested by the IRS.

For instance, in February the IRS requested information True the Vote's software and training materials. Rep. Cummings office also asked for information on True the Vote's software and training materials in their October 2012 request. Issa's letter suggests the similarities might be more than a mere coincidence, "This timeline and pattern of inquiries raises concerns that the IRS improperly shared protected taxpayer information with your staff."

Five days after Rep. Cumming's first letter to True the Vote in October 2012, in which he requested information on "training materials used for volunteers," the IRS sent True the Vote another request asking for information on volunteers and training.

Then in January 2013, Cummings' office sent a request for information on True the Vote public tax information to the IRS. This request was handled by Holly Paz with oversight from Lois Lerner. Eventually Paz did forward copies of public information back to Rep. Cummings staff. However this transaction was, according to Issa's letter, never mentioned to the Majority staff even after Paz and Lerner became a focus of the IRS targeting investigation.

Issa's letter closes with a demand that Rep. Cummings "explain the full extent of you and your staff's communications with the IRS and why you chose to keep communications with the IRS from Majority Members and staff even after it became a subject of controversy."

Rep. Issa and Rep. Cummings have been at odds over the IRS matter for months. The tension seemed to reach a new high last month when Issa cut Cummings' microphone as Rep. Cummings was launching into a loud speech clearly intended to highlight his outrage. Issa later apologized for his behavior but that didn't stop Democrats from suggesting Issa should lose his Chairmanship over the incident.

I think that enough questions have already been asked. The problem is the answers are not the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. For the sake of the families of the 4, may the persons testifying suddenly develop a conscience. But I am not hopeful of that happening.

Oliver North on Hannity said the committee needs to subpoena even the
Pentagon to get answers.........I really hope they don't let those testifying
lie. I don't think they will get around Gowdy easily.

Here is what he has already said on FOX News: "Rep. Trey Gowdy said Friday that he has evidence of a
"systematic, intentional" effort by the Obama administration to withhold documents from
Congress about the 2012 Benghazi attacks that killed four Americans.

I heard that interview on Greta and I hope he uses what ever he has to, to get these corrupt POC, and I pray it is enough to take down Obama and the Republicans impeach him, once Harry Reid is no longer a road block in the Senate.

I would be willing to bet the farm that if I go into the local Casino/Restaurant where I have breakfast or the neighborhood cowboy bar- and Fox news has on the Benghazi hearing- the patrons and employees will all be watching Lets Make a Deal or The Price is Right..
Folks are sick of the partisan infighting and have grown bored of watching he saids- she saids between the political parties....

That might be what YOU find, OT, but out here in the country everyone
is talking about it; that finally we will get to the bottom of Benghazi cover-up. We were at brandings yesterday and today and I can tell you for sure, that was one of the main subjects when we were eating. Maybe you should get out more or change where you eat, drink and/or gamble.

My brother-in-law who works up by Williston was here this weekend and
he's very interested in it as are those he works with. This is important
news. I suppose maybe when Nixon's cover-up was found out you thought no one cared then either. But look what happened then. Might I remind
you that in Watergate, no one was killed. Obama makes Nixon look like
a kindergartner. I actually hope Trey Gowdy watches his back IF they form this committee and he chairs it.

Like I said before, that could very well be true if everyone up there is as stupid as you.

But down here, even the blacks are fed up with him. Best thing about that is I have 3 times more electoral college votes than you do. You're insignificant.

Every time Ty Woods dad and Sean Smith's mom are on FOX they thank them for keeping this issue in the news. And thank them for caring about getting them the truth that the Obama Administration has been hiding for 20 months.

I would love to see our resident liberal Obama lovers look those two grieving parents in the eye and tell them the truth doesn't matter as it has to take a backseat to the Obama's Campaign rhetoric if it means the Dems retain POWER TO FURTHER DESTROY THE US with their liberal left agenda. We know Hillary and Obama can do it as they did it when the bodies arrived back in the US but can Oldtimer? If it were Oldtimer's son does anyone believe Oldtimer would not want the truth to come out???

Rasmussen Reports revealed in a new poll that 51 percent want the investigation to go forward. The House last week ordered up a special panel to investigate the killings of the U.S. ambassador and several others and how the administration handled the crisis.

Worse for Obama, Rasmussen found that 59 percent feel it is unlikely the administration has revealed all of the details of the episode. And 50 percent are not satisfied with the administration’s story they've heard.

“Seventy-two percent continue to believe that it is important to find out exactly what happened in the Benghazi matter, with 46 percent who say it is ‘Very Important.' Twenty-five percent consider more information about the Benghazi case unimportant, up from 19 percent in January, but that includes just 7 percent who say it is ‘Not At All Important,' ” said Rasmussen.

Americans who are responsible for the deaths of other Americans in Benghazi is now "partisan infighting"? Folks in Valley county are sick of hearing about it? They are "bored" when when watching reports about Americans totally abandoned and left to die at the hands of Muslim terrorists... when there was a good chance their deaths could have been prevented?

Maybe 40+ years of ineffective and bumbling law enforcement in Valley county has lowered their expectations and definition of "justice".

Not a damn thing after they've been owned by Trey Gowdy.
