Tribalism explains everything about politics, etc

Found an interesting article summarizing human behavior and our evil nature in defending whatever tribe or group we belong to. Explains why people bash the other party even if its the same. Also explains why we like to go to war. Parents even reject their kids if they don't fit the group.

Much of what Jesus and others preached was to help us resist our natural tendencies. Love our enemies, blessed are the peacemakers, the golden rule, etc. But even those professing belief let their animal instincts override what they preach.
One thing good about having chickens and cattle is you can learn alot from them about politics.

Of course, the guys at the top take advantage of our herd instincts. Get us to hate the other guys no matter the issues. Keep rotating puppets while ripping off the people.

Yep, they get fed at the trough long enough and they lose all desire to go fend for themselves.

it is common crowd behavior at about any liberal cause rally.. the first time i had to turn the hose on them I felt bad as most had no choice and were being pushed forward... then an older salt said not to aim at the front row but to aim for the angry pink radical ones.. ironically that actually slowed them more.. as they were pushers.. and often tried to hide behind others..

but if a crowd full of liberals isn't your thing,... short of that you can try to stand at the doors of walmart on black friday in an inner city and you will be able to "feel" that experience...

Wow. Isn't it ironic how his sophmoric, humanist diatribe so fully demonstrates his own premise. :???:
