Not a real polled fan but this bull was ok I thought

I got two loads of black baldy heifers from this outfit that are like peas in a pod but I forgot to take a picture-it was COLD out lol. Had a real good day of cow watchin'

Nothing like a good cow deal or horse deal, or trade of any kind to spice up life. Glad you had fun. One year at Christmas, Peach's side of the family was all playing some kind of game. My father-in-law was restless and wondered if anyone wanted to go out to his farm outside of town. I was the only one who took the bait. While there he traded me a hay bale hauler hand winch sort of deal for some beef that we were getting processed. It just tickled the old boy to death, and he said, "Those other folks just don't know what they are missing. There is nothing more fun than a good trade of some kind." I had to agree. :)

Boy I'm sharp I guessed those cows belonged to the OH-I just noticed the big OH on their hip lol. I really enjoy looking at cattle raised the way I like-Ty took on his first order buying deal and got a nice set of bred heifers. Some day we'll reveal where all this is heading it's exciting times for us. There was a big string of cows headed back up into the hills I wish I'd of taken a picture of them too.

Ya, I was gonna say "OH--I guess SO" 8)

Good soggy looking cattle---they kinda tip the horns on the yrlngs? I hadn't seen that before.

I think most guys do that up here instead of horn weights-it's better than dehorning them-I think a dehorned Hereford bull looks kind of funny but maybe that's just me. I saw some Herefords on my trip that I didn't like as much but I was out of film in my digital camera

Nice looking bulls there NR.
As hubby said they are nothing to sneeze at.
I agree that polled bull was ok, but not the best I have seen.

It is cheaper to tip the horns rather then use horn weights, because the bulls will knock them loose and lose them somewhere.

I think if the polled bull was fed like the majority he'd have enough white muscle to really look good-he was really good on his feet and moved out nice. Those two Horned six year olds really can move out but they aren't for sale :(

Are one of those 2 older bulls 90R, we have a 90R son looks like the third yearling. Who are the yearlings out of? The bull calves we have out of the 90R son look real good. I really like the second cow.

The older bulls are out F-R 8020 Lad 33H and the yearlings are out of a home raised bull there 131P I think was his number. I just took pics of a couple cows as we drove through the bunch they have lots like them. I'll see if I can get a pic of the yearlings sire from my e-mail to here-they are all light bw bulls.
