Bet you're glad your dogs are pretty slick coated. It's nice not to have to wade out into that "crap", or have to saddle a horse up for the job :wink: :D .

I prefer the slicks for sure. We have a lot of spear grass here and when it drops seed in july it is much easier to clean the seed from the dogs.

Agreed. I deal with needle grass, and it can be horrible. I bought an Oster undercoat rake, and it has helped a lot.
