Trouble just around the corner??

. Frustrated, discouraged and just plain mad, a lot people who have lost jobs _ or know someone who has _ now want to see the names of Democrats on pink slips. And that's jeopardizing the party's chances here in Ohio and all across the country in November's elections.

a new gallup poll when it comes to how voters feel about members of congress. a staggering 75% says things would be better if most of congress was replaced with new faces. 14% say things would get worse in that situation.
78% of americans say the country is headed in the wrong direction. that's among the worst numbers we've seen in the history of the gallup poll . 82% of americans say they feel like we're in a recession even though economists say we're in a fragile recovery. that's a climate dangerous for a party that controls the white house , the house and the senate.

Is there Hope?

CBS Congressional correspondent Nancy Cordes said the Democrats are distancing themselves from President Obama.

"Not only are they running away from President Obama, they're running away from being Democrats in some cases. In some races you actually see the Democratic candidates not really mentioning that they're a Democrat in their campaign ads," Cordes said.

Democrats feel like their party left them- they were taken over by ultra-liberals
Republicans feel like their party left them- they were taken over by liberals
But now Conservatives are making headroads towards taking back the GOP!
Where does that leave the Dems?? are they going to be taken back by Liberal Republicans? :?

I never thought of it that way, but you are probably correct.

Maybe voting for a liberal like McCain might have been a better option for the Dem party than voting for a progressive like obama.

By voting for obama they have only brought the rath of conservatives onto their doorstep and additional notice towards the neo-cons.

But I do think the whole experience was good for the US and we can only hope that the whole experience will be a positive in the end for the Country.

Nothing like a horrible two year walk towards socialism to teach the voters where they do not want to go. All we can hope is they have learned their lessons so the progressives don't get another chance to TRANSFORM the US.

All that the TEA parties have did was start a political conversation-

that conversation is not over, it is just begining. :D

Have you ever wittnessed a time in your life that the Constitution and the proper role of government has been more widely discussed??

This is a major long term shift for the whole country, NOT just a mid term election pendulum swing. As we see Conservative values return to politics, we will see major shifts in all things. Education will be a big one, without the indoctrination of children Liberalism/ Socialism/ Progressive/ Statism will fall.
