I'm surprised I haven't seen it here today. McCain and his AZ colleague have been requesting 6000 troops stationed along the AZ/Mejico border for some time now, and last night, McCain learned through a press release that TWAP was begrudgingly sending 1200, and the 1200 were to be split between the border states. Funny thing is, McCain and TWAP spoke late yesterday, and TWAP never said squat about sending any troops. McCain seemed kinda flabbergasted when he saw the press release.
In the interview last night, Mac said that this administration is the most partisan administration he had ever dealt with. Mac is the ranking member on the Armed Services Committee and had to learn of the news through a press release?!?!? God...I can't wait until 2012!
