Two years of drought, fire, marginal crop yields, the senate hauls a** out of Washington to campaign, and then what do we hear, TWO million pi**Ed away to hire one intern, and wonder what his/her job was, gathering data on how much fence burned, how little corn went to ethanol, bet inventory of the coffee cups was closer to it.
Can't get a loan app out of USDA office here, with out going in and demanding one, which I enjoyed to no end, it made at least one of them get out of his chair. And the chances of getting it accepted much less approved, and you think the USDA gives two flying flips as to our losses to this weather??
And the government built it, my a**

Don't worry Obama is on the Mid West Swing of his campaign and needs to buy votes so you can bet he will be openning the old purse strings and tossing money like there is no tomorrow and the debt doesn't have to be paid back.

There will be more AG funding announcements in the next few days to buy votes than there has been in the last four years.

Going to buy beef, catfish, now who is that going to help? The beef nearly has to come from either a feedlot or a packer, produced 2 years ago, so the farmer who is fighting the drought is going to get say 1.25 a pound for a 300 lb calf that in a normal year would weigh 5 plus. So now the packer has money to buy something cheaper or considering the grass supply probably won't buy at all.
All for the donation to charities but, this is nothing more than some dumb mass thinking it will buy some votes. Same song 10th verse, farmer you are on your own.
