If any of you are housebound because of the storm- the U Bar red angus bull sale is being broadcast on the the internet DVAuction- starts at 1PM Mountain time.....

I was going to go in to this sale today- ride the grub line since they have a free lunch- but saw it was on the internet so might just watch it from the easy chair in my office... This old storm and cool streak sure has the artheritis talking back to me- the easy chair will feel better than those old sales ring seats....

OT a friend of ours has a "Patch" for arthritis. Seems to think it works for him..

My sister has been trying to get me to go to some arthritis clinic in Chicago area-- she did, as this is a genetic thing that runs on my moms side of the family...She claims they really helped her- but so far I ain't made it...

A little Black Velvet or R&R and I start feeling like a kid again...

I don't think they did too bad on their sale..Sold a couple $5-6,000 bulls, Lot 6 sold for $9500- had a lot of bulls in the $1500 range...

My rough figuring shows their average on yearling bulls at $2046
Yearling heifers at $2171.....

One of the higher sellers sold in-state. After the out of state show and/or high performance crowd quit buying, it dropped from about a 6,000 average down to about a 1600 average.
