U.S. and Iran

MUNICH (AP) - Iran sternly dismissed decades of U.S. policies targeting Tehran and declared Friday that the new American administration had to admit past wrongs before it could hope for reconciliation.
The comments by Iranian parliamentary speaker Ali Larijani at an international security conference in Munich appeared to be the most detailed outline yet of Tehran's expectations from President Barack Obama's administration.

"The old carrot and stick policy must be discarded," he said, alluding to Western threats and offers of rewards to coax Iran to give up nuclear activities the West views as threatening. "This is a golden opportunity for the United States."

"This is a golden opportunity for the United States."

"The new American administration had to admit past wrongs"

that about sums it up... we admit that we were wrong and Iran does as it pleases..

What more could a liberal democrat want.. a golden opportunity to blame US for a rogue nations' decades of bad behavior towards US..

Obama is wasting little time is pissing away the nation. Iran needs smacked up side the head, not a little pep talk.

our policy is ignorant, we help the world, fund EVERYTHING, then they turn on us and kick us in the nuts.

I think we should cease ALL over seas spending, and let the world take a few years off from us funding every damned thing, and then let them see how well they like us

But the vice president says Iran must also be willing to change.

They don't want change, don't you get it!

How much clearer can they make it? They want the HOPE, that was promised.

They HOPE everybody agrees and becomes like them!

Have you not learned anything from the last 8 years of disaster? Or is it 1000, I forget, I've been quoted CNN too much lately!
