He said yesterday that he didn't have a "Philosphical problem" with travel bans but was convinced that what they are doing now is much better.

Which is???????????????????????????????????????????

Which is???????????????????????????????????????????

Playing golf, campaign fund raisers, and giving speeches before adoring audiences.

Playing golf, campaign fund raisers, and reading teleprompters before adoring audiences.

If you had a group of 11-year-olds, they would surely have a superior answer to the question: “Sick people are coming through the door of the house, and we are not sure how to make them well. Meanwhile they are starting to make us sick, too. What is the first thing to do?”

The children would reply: “Close the door.” One would add: “Just for a while, while you figure out how to treat everyone getting sick.” Another might say: “And keep going outside the door in protective clothing with medical help.” Eleven-year-olds would get this one right without a lot of struggle.

Senegal, one of the world's poorest countries, conquered Ebola. But they had an advantage over us because they have no cable news networks.

I don't usually go in for conspiracy theories, but I believe that Ebola is a plot by a virus to prove that our government agencies are incompetent and our media idiotic.

There's not anything funny about this, Fatman. Not. One. Thing.

But idiots such as yourself that fell for the "hope and change" snake oil aren't smart enough to realize the seriousness of this.

CNN Defends New Slogan
BY ANDY BOROWITZ

NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—The president of CNN Worldwide, Jeff Zucker, attempted on Wednesday to defuse the brewing controversy over his decision to change the network’s official slogan from “The Most Trusted Name in News” to “Holy Crap, We’re All Gonna Die.”

“This exciting new slogan is just one piece of our over-all rebranding strategy,” Zucker said. “Going forward, we want CNN to be synonymous with the threat of imminent death.”

He added that the network expected to see strong ratings growth as a result of having the words “Holy Crap, We’re All Gonna Die” on-screen twenty-four hours a day.

Part of Zucker’s new strategy was on display during Tuesday’s edition of the network’s signature program, “The Situation Room,” in which a visibly ill-at-ease Wolf Blitzer appeared dressed as The Grim Reaper.

“That’s a work in progress,” Zucker said about Blitzer’s makeover. “But once Wolf gets comfortable swinging that scythe, he’s going to be amazing.”

How true- a month ago the media had a Muslim hiding behind every tree to cut our head off- now we don't have to worry because Ebola will kill us all first ...

Yep, the media tried to help out the Dems. by making it appear that he had both under control...they failed miserably, and with only 2 weeks left to go.

The Ebola outbreak has been a disaster in politics, but a boom for capitalism. Weird how that works, but it is how many things work. President Obama’s handling of the Ebola outbreak has been an unmitigated disaster. At first, he dismissed it. Then, he panicked and started canceling campaign and fundraising events to engage in the “optics” of being in charge. It was too late. With his indifference toward beheadings and terrorists attacks that killed ambassadors in the past, the president altering his heretofore unalterable schedule signaled a panic message to the American people.

Barack Obama always has been politically tone-deaf when it comes to leadership, but nearly perfect pitch for campaigning. The Ebola crisis requires him to move from the latter into the former. It’s an unnatural fit, and it’s showing.

After weeks of refusing to take Ebola seriously and trying to project calm, the president’s sudden and abrupt reversal didn’t quell fears, it’s sparked them.

Once again, the Fatman puts his full faith and trust in his Dear Leader and big government. Pretty plain he's never been anywhere, done or seen anything outside of his little comfort zone in Valley county. Ignorance is bliss.

yep,.. that is why I just stayed home with the flu.,.. no reason to get these liberal folk upset over that and their insurance premiums going up at the same time...

rumor has it they have 25 health care workers staying at the Texas Hospital.. because they do not want to risk infecting their families or others..

they might as well turn the hospital into a self quarantine hotel as few sick folk want to go there now..

seems like things must be getting really bad... they added a few more available beds..

The United States has the capacity to isolate and manage 11 patients in four specialized biocontainment units. These include the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center in Missoula, Montana and Emory University Hospital Atlanta, Georgia

if they use medicare standards they could probably double up in those rooms and put a few in the hall as well..
