Feed lots and processors are on the loss side and only the cow-calf producers are in profit." Grassfed cattle will be the norm as if you don't raise your own feed stocks ,you loose . Feed grain prices have been held down for years to produce cheap meats,not any more.This is the reason I can think of why the factory animal farms started as for cheap feed stocks, not automation.
A releveling of Agriculture values has started. If you want to feed cattle ,swine,lamb, poultry, then you will need to own all your own land for your own course grain and hay production to feed your livestock production.
