ya, what about her? She's the one that is suspected of killing some Russian Journalists, possibly spies, is she not?
I can see by your answer that you took the Russian story hook line and sinker..
you researched just far enough to find out what the Russians claim... and accepted that as the truth...
but the reality is she was captured, interrogated by the Pro-russian rebels and then turned over to the russians..
the russians have charged her with complicity ,.. a mortar round killed the two,.. and she is a helicopter pilot.. (source RT)
oh,.. and to top it off.. the russians say she fled to russia as a refuge..
yep, that's about what I read on Wikipedia.
Steve, during a war, you will read propaganda from both sides. I don't believe either side entirely
and it does not matter how much investigating you do...you will probably still; not be able to determine the complete truth.
But, in saying that, we do know that both sides are being accused by Amnesty of abuse and war crimes.
So, it would appear that there are no completely innocent parties.
There are groups from both sides that are acting the same as they did in the 30s and 40s and others that are not.
But, you seem to be taking sides, based on what was done during WWII and before. And, I am also assuming that you have Ukranian family that lived through some of those evil times.
I understand, but that is no reason to put on the blinders to what is happening in the present. That is how history repeats...
Back during the protests I brought up the fact that many of the protesters were Neo-Nazis and not the sort of people that the Ukraine should associate with. And if they were not able to control those peoples actions, they would be unfortunately be "tarred with the same brush"
It seems that I was correct, even though you accused me at that time of not knowing what I was talking about. The neo nazi battalions are considered representatives of Ukraine, the same as the rebels and their "volunteers" are considered representatives of Russia.
Now, you are defending those same evil doers...and accusing me of smearing all Ukranians.
You are wrong. I am still bringing to others attention the acts of those same people I warned against previously.

yep.. ol russian tactic.. just call them crazy.. and then treat them like they are crazy..
yep, that tactic is used in the US too, by law enforcement and government. right now on "ringhtwingernuts", or gun owners...something I have condemned many times, right here on this forum.
and it doesn't matter which side has done it, I will continue to condemn it, because it is wrong.
