Under a week

Well it's crunch time. In less than a week America gets to choose it's president. Are ya gonna vote for Mr. Obama or Mr McCain? In my veiw its not even close. Either ya want a radical liberal (Most liberal in all of congress, even more so that Kennedy, Reid, Pelosi, Biden is only 3rd) with suspicious ties to domestic terrorists, with little or no record who supports abortion including partial birth and will spend your money much better than you ever could.. Or you can vote for a moderate(compared to that everyone looks moderate) who is far from a perfect conservative but has some good ideas and a longer record of change. I voted last week with mail-in ballots. What amazes me is that people belive Obama at all. Everything he does and says is smoke and mirrors. He switched positions on election finace money, his minister, his negotiations with rogue nations, ect.ect. If yall want him, please dont holler when he unleads us straight to bankruptcy and worse.

Actually that is another fallacy (LIE) being promoted by the McCain/Rove crew....Only one publication (National Journal) rated Obama the most liberal- and the Repubs grabbed that one as the only one that counted..

As I posted on here earlier- Votemaster used the average of all the longtime rating groups-conservative and liberal--and came up with him being 39th most liberal..

Is Obama the most liberal senator in Washington?
No.

One analysis by one publication, the National Journal, using votes from one year ranked Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama as the most liberal senator in Washington. And Republicans have been repeating this ranking as fact ever since.

The American Conservative Union, however, ranks Obama as the 16th most liberal senator in its lifetime rankings.

Obama is the 27th most liberal senator according to Progressive Punch's analysis of his Washington career voting record (and a mushy-moderate 45th when the chips were down). VoteView ranks him 11th. Americans for Democratic Action gave Obama a 75 percent score in 2007 (putting him in a four-way tie for 42nd most liberal senator) and a 95 percent score in 2006 (putting him in an eight-way tie for 13th place).

Former National Journal reporter Mark Murray reminds us over at MSNBC.com that Obama's NJ "ranking was 16th in 2005 and 10th in 2006."

Well each study is different but ONE does say he is the MOST liberal doesnt it! Heck every different station has its own poll with different numbers too. The fact is Mr. Obama is way more liberal than his opponent. He is WAY too liberal for this conservative(socially, economically and every other ically) to vote for. His is the definition of a radical liberal; in spending, in bigger government, in all social issues, in gun rights, in healthcare, in every issue he isnt just kinda left of center, he is so far left he's coming around right! He wants to "fundamentally change"(His own words by the way) the greatest country in the world.(My Canadian friends are a close second :D ) Sure we need tweaking and adjusting but to FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE is to mess with the constitution, to dramatically and tragically alter a nation that doesnt need drastic action. He is [email protected]#! bent on forcing all of us to adhere to his vision of America, a vision that only the most radical, Micheal Moore, Harry Reid, Move-on.org share. A vision that i can't imagine moderates or conservatives or even left-leaning ranchers could agree with!

I don't need to see that! Some body take that off here!! NOW! Martin Jr. edit that out and apologize for the shockingly graphic and brutal picture. Use your head! My kids love this place and they sure don't need to accidentally see that! For hell sakes! It's stupid things like that which give conservatives bad reputations. Pull your head out!

I gotta agree.

I am anti abortion unless it is a case of rape or health issues.... but I HATE seeing the abortion signs littering the highway...you don't see abortion doctors with signs that say "sleep around, we will take care of the problem"

it bugs me

I won't post it, but it was a picture of a late term aborted child. Not a pretty sight, but is reality. It had been posted on here some time back also. You can find it at www.priestsforlife.org and clicking on "America will not reject abortion until America sees abortion" and then on see images and on gallery 2 "late term abortions" , first one on second row.
The image here is a live 6 month baby in the womb.

Abortion is a hot topic in this place but I wonder how you all justify the lives many unwanted children live? Have you seen living negelected abused children? Government might be able to make women carry them to term but social services does a poor job making them take care of them.

Conservatives and rightwingers are sooooo concerned about a fetus in the woman's womb and against her right to choose. But once it's born, it's her problem. WIC, food stamps, SCHIP, none of that for babies.

You can let them die after they're born according to Obama RE the Infants Born Alive Act. Why aren't you mad about that, or doesn't infanticide bother you at all?
