S.D.)-Mountain Lions Overstay Their Welcome

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - State wildlife officials had to find a new home for three young mountain lions that were spending too much time around a Black Hills home.
It's believed their mother was killed in the hunting season last fall. The three kittens showed up at a Pringle home last November and started eating food meant for household pets.
The homeowner was getting a little concerned lately because the lions now weigh 80 pounds and were showing up in his yard, even lounging on his patio area.
The Game, Fish and Parks caught the three young lions and moved them to a remote area about 15 miles away. Each is wearing a radio collar so their movements can be tracked
