Update: Congress Approval rating goes Lower

Well 30 days later and the approval rating of Congress has dipped again. Now it is lower than the Presidents. Down 4% to a 29% Approval Rating.

What was it that the Dem's said after wining the elections? America has spoken? Well I guess America is still speaking and they are not very happy with the Dem's

PRINCETON, NJ -- A new Gallup Poll finds continued low levels of public support for both Congress and President George W. Bush. Twenty-nine percent of Americans approve of Congress, down slightly from last month's reading (33%) and this year's high point of 37%

How low can she go?

She'll never leave on her own accord. She's a terrorist against working Americans plain and simple.

How much do you earn? I want all of it.

The economy is about to take a fall. It is time for business to expand rather than make profit. If there's any profit, Pelosi wants it - all of it.

How do you know if we have any good choices? I would seriously love to know how you became such a big authority on American Politics? And why you care so much?

It might show that the people made bad choices not necessarily that there was no good choices to pick from.

Surely you have heard of Michael Jordan? Have you ever heard of the basketball player Sam Bowie? Back in the 1984 Portland passed up on Michael Jordan with their 2cd pick to choose Sam Bowie who turned out a flop. Chicago picked up Jordan with their 3rd pick.

Portland can not say there was no good choices, when they passed over probably the greatest player to ever play basketball for a dud. They just made a bad choice, based on scouting reports of Bowie.

Well many times the public will mess up and vote people in based on the scouting reports that the Liberal media gives them. And many times they turn out to be flops. And many times they vote in people that might be good for their state but are in reality bad for the Country as a whole, aka Pelosi!

I think many mistakes are made in this regard, we should pick our Congressmen based on the good they are for the country as a whole not what they will do for our individual states.

Example Ted Stevens from Alaska he might be a pork barrel expert and bring money to Alaska for projects like the Bridge to Nowhere, but it did not serve the better good of the United States as a whole.

nonothing sure spends a lot of time reading and watching TV then. Because he/she sure has a lot of oppinions about our politics. I bet he/she knows more about who is running for offices than the average American does.

And yes I have been to Canada twice, last time was 21 years ago. I know a little about certain things about some other countries but I can not imagine spending so much time studying or learning about other countries politicians.

The sad thing is that is true.

21 years since you were in Canada huh APLUS? Come on up and see the big box stores all across the country and check out the US coporate presence all across Canada. As well stop in at some of the ranches and check out the new fangled satellite dishes and hi-speed internet. We do a BILLION dollars worth of trade each DAY with the US. As producers of some of these goods it's our business to know whats happening in the US.

The best way for any business to succeed is to not only know its product inside and out but also to know its customers even better.

We do a lot of trade with China but i doubt many if any can name their Leaders or spend much time evaluating their political policies and how they affect them.

China does not share a continent with the USA either. It should be more of a surprise to you how little you know about your neighbor Canada then about how much I know about the USA.Here is some canadian history for you Aplus, and just cause you like basketball analogies, did you know that the man who invented the game of basketball was a canadian?

I stick up for no one now....I respond because of who you are....You are not a nice person,I am sure you could care less how i feel towards you.I have never seen an octogenarian act so much like a big baby as you do_On top of all the rude things you say and do,your a huge drama queen when your called out..

I am positive Kolo needs no help dealing with you, your light work really.I am sure you bore her now.Your just an old crabby man how has life blinders on and your to old to change now.All we can hope for is that you decide to stop your name calling and enjoy the banter, rather that make it personal..Try some prune juice each morning, maybe if you became more regular you would not be so rude on here.

Do you not get news from other countries? Is the only news items you hear American? We're your closest nieghbors,it amazes me the lack of knowlege some Americans have about Canada.Although I have to admit unless it effects Canada I'm not really moved by American news items,it often blows my mind how celebrity issues seem to trump good news items in your country.

In the words of a late great Canadian prime minister Tim Horton...'the Americans only believe in the coffee brewed in thier own pots"
